Absolutely Beautiful

Location was perfect and all of us ages 5 through 71 enjoyed the peaceful weekend we all needed. We could not have asked for a more beautiful house and location. Having a hot tub in November made the weekend even more relaxing! Thank you!

Friend reunion
Publié le 8 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a great time at the riverhouse. Very good location and loved the access to the river. Was a good place for the families to reunite and kids to enjoy one another. Would definitely stay here again.

We loved it!
Publié le 30 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayPerfect size for everyone to stay. The house had all the things we needed for having meals together. The grill and hot tub were also great. The beds were a little rough, but we often have a hard time sleeping somewhere other than home anyway.
The outdoor activities were awesome! Biking, hiking, swimming, fishing, boating, and more!
We will likely be back in the future.

Not sure what you mean but rough, but either way I have noted about the mattresses..they are on the list to check and replace if needed.

Private and perfect

House was very clean and had everything we needed. I was very happy with this property and would definitely return.

A couple of updates would make this place great.
Publié le 14 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayBooking was super easy, check-in was seamless. The property has a lot of lovely outdoor space, and it’s location on the river is perfect. There were lovely touches, like games, and a chalkboard, laundry soap, and some cool-looking furniture. The house was clean and spacious. The biggest issue for us were the beds and the upstairs carpet. The upstairs carpet needs replacing— In The pictures it looks OK, but in real life, it feels tired. Additionally, the mattresses appear to be quite old. But all in all, we enjoyed our stay.

Please know that we replace mattresses regularly and most at the Riverhouse are only 2 years old. But we'll be double checking all the mattresses per your feedback.
And the upstairs carpet---yes, we agree, it's time to replace. It's not that old, but hasn't held up as expected. We actually have the flooring and are just waiting on a window to install it.

There’s room enough to be comfortable inside the house - but it was the lovely outdoor areas that made our stay truly special. Luckily the weather was awesome and we were able to eat meals in the picnic area and spend our nights around the fire pit.

My only "complaint" was a bed shown in listing was a mattress on the floor.

Thanks for the review. Glad that you found our property to be clean and nice.
Just wanted to clarify about the bed that you mentioned, first, it's back on a new frame.
Also it isn't counted in the bed count, it's an "extra" bed in the main bedroom. The room is so large that we decided to provide a bed there for kids/families.
And, yes, it was on the floor for your stay--my apologies--I meant to let you know that but I thought we'd have the new frame in place but didn't quite get it assembled and I didn't find out until you were checked in.
Also, given that you were 8 guests and the house sleeps 12 (without this bed), we didn't think it would be an issue. While, it was made and certainly usable if needed--- I do hope this didn't affect your stay.
It's definitely a non issue now.

Great House and Company to Rent from!
Publié le 20 mars 2024 sur HomeAwayThe house was great and the company makes renting through them a breeze. I loved that they provided filtered water in the house with a dispenser. The kitchen was fully stocked and that made packing so much easier for us.

While we do have a fantastic local team of caretakers, we as owners, are still involved in the day to day. And that's because we truly love our homes, the area and sharing it all with others.
