Very nice chalet in a lovely setting on the river.

Only negative was the nearby train tracks as the train did run a few times in the night. There was great communication from the host and we had a great stay.

Paddler's Lane Seclusion
Publié le 31 août 2024 sur HomeAwayThe Chalet was in immaculate condition upon our arrival and the pictures were very accurate. The setting was very private and the sound of the river flowing so close was very relaxing. Robin provided excellent directions to Fallingwater and advice for dining options. The River's Edge Cafe was superb and visiting Fallingwater was very worthwhile. Our visit was very relaxing and enjoyable.

Great place on the river

Gentle Stream Fishing Adventure for Kids
Publié le 21 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayIdyllic chalet with beautiful gentle river just out the back door and through the forest path. Dappled light coming through the trees. Easy summer breezes. Chipmunks aplenty. Firepit perfect for evening chats. Boys loved their first adventure casting from the rocks in “The Yak”.

Publié le 18 déc. 2023 sur HomeAwayMy husband and I went up here to enjoy some times to ourselves and it was so worth it. The view and sound of the river was phenomenal. Although the trains drive passed a lot, there is something soothing about them. We will definitely be going back.

Suggestions: the front bedroom needs a new mattress
The area around the dining table needs better lighting
Include information for guests that soap, shampoo and conditioner are not provided
Mention that the Flight 93 memorial is in the area
