The staff were very efficient and friendly. The room while small was very clean. The only disappointment was that being a Saturday the restaurant was busy and they tried to place us at a very dark side table. We decided not to dine there and found a lovely Turkish restaurant in the High St. Overall a great stay.

Exceptional
Incredibly well presented venue and room. Spotlessly clean, and very well equipped modern yet also cosy. Bathroom spotless and modern. Friendly welcome from reception team despite my late arrival (use Leone entrance if arriving very late). Vegetarian breakfast was first class, and service quick and friendly. As it's also a bar/restaurant there is ample parking.

Great stay, food and service was great, evening meal and breakfast were good. Nice comfy spacious room. Only let down was being asked for card details when checking out despite them having card machines seemed strange.

We were moved after checking in because Renovations were being done early in front of our room. We were upgraded which was nice, but the room was noisy as traffic started early in the am. It was drafty and we couldn't regulate the temp. Too cold to too hot with drafts. The room was aesthetically pleasing and apparently Richard II stayed there. It was unusually cold weather so that was probably not expected.

Breakfast slow as only 1 member of staff. Coffee machine not working. Rubbish variety at breakfast. They have a nice restaurant and reception area but don’t use it. Instead there’s a crappy table in corner and has a pub vibe. Rooms smell of glade plug ins is unbearable. Bedroom uncomfortable as curtains don’t keep light out, could do with blinds.

Excellent overnight stay very convenient for a wedding in Rushton Spencer at Heaton House Farm. Excellent breakfast and very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were cleaned to a high standard. Reasonably priced.

This was a very last minute stay due to a cancelled job I was on. The staff were amazing and very welcoming. Fantastic food and service and a very early taxi was booked by the hotel for me and arrived on time. Excellent all round and hope to be back again soon.
