Fantastic stay, lovely staff.. Shame the restaurant was closed for evening meals but lots of choices nearby

Very helpful and friendly staff. Spotlessly clean, cosy and comfortable pub/restaurant/hotel with its own parking. A wonderful terrace with great views to enjoy whilst having a afternoon/evening drink. Great spot for a short stay in the lakes.

Lovely room overlooking the beautiful scenery. The breakfast was fantastic and they even gave the dogs sausages which they loved.

Unfortunately, I fractured my ankle the week before our latest trip and the management team at The Sun were extremely understanding and accomodating a booking move at short notice, something they weren't required to do via Hotels.co.uk. Thank you so much - we will see you soon!

Great staff, food and views

We’re very dog friendly, even cooking an extra breakfast sausage for her! Would highly recommend, we had a wonderful stay.
