Beautiful place to relax and unwind - the complimentary bottle of wine was welcome! Our bedroom was gorgeous and there were multiple areas, including a library to relax in. Breakfast was exceptional!

Emplacement : There are several beaches and walking trails to explore, as well as shopping and scuba/snorkeling. The Pour House brewery is worth checking out.
Lonely Bay Lodge is beautiful B&B on exquisitely maintained grounds in Cook Beach. It is a ferry ride to Whitianga (Ferry is about a 25 minute walk or a 5 to 10 minute drive away) and about a 15 minute drive to Hahei beach. Kym was very helpful and welcoming--willing to make reservations, book activities, and even drive us to the ferry landing. Each morning, we were served a private very lavish breakfast each morning and the minibar was all included with wine, beer, water and snacks. Parking is also included in the price of the booking. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend to anyone looking for accommodation in the Cormandel.

Pour : The aesthetic, the location, the tranquility.
Personable but unobtrusive service.
This place is pretty much perfect.
Contre : Wifi wasn't great but it is currently being fixed.
The pillows on the beds were a bit too large.
The blinds over the windows let in too much light.
Emplacement : Lonely bay is beautiful with a safe swimming beach. The entire coromandel is close by if you have a car. Hot water beach is 10 mins away.
Absolutely beautiful and luxurious home in a quiet and tranquil corner of the coromandel.
Great service, delicious breakfast.
Can't recommend this place highly enough.
