We stayed in a three bedroom chalet that was very well appointed, clean, comfortable and homey. Management staff were very help with local dining and activity tips and suggestions. They even offer loaner mini-shovels for hot water beach excavations!
When returning to the chalet in the late afternoon the interior was very hot as is probably expected summer without any a/c. However without any screens on the windows or sliding doors it was difficult to air without inviting bugs into the home. Our solution was to just return home later in the evening.

Thanks for your lovely review and it's great to hear your cottage was clean and comfortable.Yes it was a hot summer this year, while we don't have A/C we do have fans in each cottage and often shade from the trees. We can get a few visits from nature inside as we are in a rural area, but do not tend to have a problem with mosquitos. But we very much appreciate your feedback about this and will consider it further.

This is a beautiful property in a great position close to the beach. The accommodation has everything you need and is in great condition. The grounds are gardens are also very well maintained.

Lovely cottage , very private, spacious, loved the birds (felt like we were in the bush).
Staff were very helpful. Highly recommend,

Relaxed hideaway
Publié le 24 oct. 2021 sur HotelsA wonderful place to unwind. Fully equipped room in a beautifully landscaped gardens. Close to the ferry landing for visits to whitianga. Across the road is a lovely walk thru the bush to Lonely Bay. Highly recommend this accommodation.
