Staff were very noisy in the morning.
I could hear them banging cupboard doors and talking at 7.30, they actually woke me up.
When I was checking in, our room wasn’t ready and the receptionist said she would call me when it was ready.
Never received a call which was really annoying as when I returned, they said my room was ready

Loved the location for easy access to walkway, bowls & RSL Club. Cooktown was an amazing place to visit with so much history. The Sovereign was a real treat to stay at, the amenities were great, clean and tidy-worth the money to stay.

Great location and facilities, standard room had private patio, so quiet and overlooking a freeform pool, excellent dining options including room service-extended our stay and staff so helpful to keep our same room-top show!

The two bedroom apartment was very spacious and clean. The pool was well presented and very refreshing. The restaurant looked lovely and if we had stayed longer we would have dined there.
