Fabulous family friendly getaway

The easy location to the beach was great! Although a steep climb back. We loved the walking tracks that were close to the bach, and particularly enjoyed our walk to Mangonui fish and chips shop!
This home is fantastic value for money if you’re after a quintessential kiwi bach experience.
The only thing that would make this stay better is having a working dryer.

Didn't want to leave!
Publié le 16 juin 2023 sur HomeAwayThe bach is just as porttrayed, sunny, styley, great views, nice trees etc. There was a bit of traffic noise due to State Highway 1 being closed but that should be temporary. Loved our stay.

Disappointing
Publié le 15 mai 2023 sur HomeAwayThis is a nice old Kiwi Bach. Clutter made it inconvenient and dampness made it uncomfortable. This was one of the most expensive places we stayed in on our road trip North and we had to take our own linen and a hefty cleaning charge, no internet and then were expected to take our rubbish with us. The location was handy to a superb beach and a lovely town of Monganui which partially compensated for the inconvenience and discomfort of the house. The bed was not great and quite small. The views are nice but we could have stayed elsewhere for less with better views.

Each to their own I guess. Your review is at odds with every other review. The bach is definitely not damp but there will be condensation on the windows in the cold in winter, especially if you dont open any windows. Description says double bed (for future reference. that's different to a queen). I'm guessing you don't really understand what a bach is (it's someone's actual sometimes residence). It's not cluttered but provides all the comforts of a home away from home. It was not advertised that there was wifi and it is stated that you need to take your rubbish as the bach sits empty at times and there is no one to put the rubbish out.

Cooper's Beach
Publié le 14 mai 2023 sur HomeAwayHouse was comfortable and well equipped, lovely views and so close to the beach. However I suggest that the dryer should be fixed asap as judging from the amount of rain in Northland an easy way of drying clothes would be very handy

Family stay
