Needs a few tweaks.

The house wasn't as clean as expected, and there was limited comfy seating in the lounge, we had to use outdoor bean bags inside. Traffic from highway behind the house was very noisy and trucks shake the house. Quite expensive for what you get. No dishwasher and only 1 rubbish bag provided for family for a week stay. The washing machine only did hot washes and there was no drier. This all made the holiday not as relaxing as we would have liked.

Great Views - Tired House

The location of this house is outstanding. The lovely deck allows plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy the vistas, whether it be the bay or the night sky. Steps down to the beach make it easy to access the water, which is wonderful!
Outside is where everyone wants to be, day or night.
However, this sweet house needs some TLC. It's functional and has some nice touches, but overall, it feels tired.
Some things in the kitchen were not clean, such as a couple of cutting boards and some glasses high up, which may have been out of reach for some time.
The downstairs of the home is quaint with some decorative furniture, but the home overall could use some love. The upstairs has nice beds, but white on white with little color feels more institutional than like a home.
The house has so much potential to be outstanding in and of itself, in addition to the amazing views and location.
I would recommend this stay to a family (or larger group of people) if you're looking for a rustic beach stay.
I would also recommend to the owners to do more updating here and there, and keep adding more color and charm throughout the house. It's in a great place - it deserves the TLC worthy of its location.

Perfect summer location
Publié le 9 janv. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe had a great time at Coopers beach. The country house is very well equipped and has stunning views of the Pacific Ocean. The nearby town Mangonui is very charming and has some good dinner options. Greeting and communication with the host was excellent

Amazing location

Coopers Beach with beach access and a great view

Wouldn’t want to have 10 or 11 people staying wiht only one shower although it does have 2 separate toilets with their own hand basins. As a couple we thoroughly enjoyed the space. Need to be aware that the interns stairs are steep and you need to take care. The steps down to the beach at the bottom of the lawn are very convenient to pop down for a dip when you fancy.
Overall we had a great stay and the deck was great you could be in the sun or shade as the mood took you.
