Three bedrooms is a stretch
Publié le 22 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayCalling this a three bedroom is more than a bit of a stretch. Yes, there are three beds in spaces with doors. But given that the twin daybed is in a space with nothing else in it, it is not much of a bedroom. There is literally nothing else, no closet, dresser, nightstand, reading light, nothing.
And it should be clear in the description that the only bathroom is only accessed by going through this "bedroom." If you are a single family with kids who are old enough to need their own rooms it could work. But multiple families, not so much.
And then there were the cleanliness issues. Any cleaner can have a bad day. There is that. I took exception to needing to spend 20 minutes cleaning the patio furniture to make it usable, the chewed gum that was plainly sitting there on the night stand of one of the bedrooms, the floors that were vacuumed but needed mopping, and the "hygienic liner" (presumably from a new, woman's swimsuit someone was putting on for the first time) that was stuck to the bathroom wall. Yup, you read that right.

Great Spot
Publié le 22 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayThis is a great spot. It's secluded, so you don't have a lot of other people around. I did have a doe and a couple of fawns looking in the window one morning though! Great views of the bay.
My GPS lead me right to it, although it was just slightly confused as I drove in the drive. After that, no problem!
Communication with the owner was quick and easy.
It's a very clean property and I really enjoyed my stay. Had everything you needed. I wish all the vrbo properties would take lessons from this one.
If I'm back in the area, this will be my place to stay!

Dark isolated driveway

Had the weather been nicer there appears to be a trail to the beach from the property. Unit was clean. Property was super quiet which we loved. Lack of central heating was a bummer for us given the time of year we rented. Had this been Summer, I don't think it would have been a problem.

-We do include a map on our listing so that guests can see the approximate location of the home before booking, but we also encourage guests to research the area before booking to ensure it is the right fit for their needs
-We detail all of the available amenities and features of the property in the listing. The amenities are correctly advertised, we like to emphasize that we do not list central heat. Our vacation homes are on the coast and do not need air conditioning or central heat. All three of our properties have propane fireplaces. The manor has wall registers, ceiling heat, a fireplace, and bathroom floor heat. We will add this information to the Welcome book so guests can adjust the heat accordingly. We understand it can be cold this time of year and we're sorry how this had an impact on your stay
-The charm of the property is its location and its relaxing appeal. The home is isolated from noise, unfortunately there are no street lights, but we also have no traffic to contend with which is part of the charm and special character
