Be careful with unexpected cost! Daniel & Jacobs offered two hours of free luggage storage when booking through the link on their online guide book. It said nothing about hidden costs; it only said two hours free. In the booking, I was asked to enter my card details, but the price I had to pay was still 0 kr before handing in the luggage. To my great surprise, I was still charged over 300 kr when I picked up the luggage after 1.5 hours. I first called Daniel&Jabocs, but was met by a lady who said i had to e-mail. So i did, but i was told that this was offered by another company and not on their table. They could not help me. Do not expect any non hiddens cost with this company, or at least do not expect help to solve mistakes or misleading information from this company. We had a baby with us, which i dont recommend due to lots of dust on the floors. The houskeeping had not cleand under the funitures in the apartment. The rest was ok, good location.

Dear Daniel,We are sorry to hear this is how you experienced it.We tried our best to explain how it was working, and what we offered when you reached out to us afterwards.So we do offer two hours of luggage storage for free, as you saw was removed from your recite you sent us.But any service fee towards the store or additional insurance is not covered by us, and wasnt either charged by us, but by LuggageHero. This is informed everywhere, in our guidebook and saved replies, apart from one part in the guidebook that was missed unfortunately, but has now been added. We offered to reach out to LuggageHero to ask if they could go along with a refund, since it didn't show up for you while making the reservation.This was only meant to be a gesture from our side, wanting to give our guest another option for storage. We do not have any deal with them and wouldnt earn anything by trying to hide extra costs.Our intention was never to make you feel that we didn't try to assist, we just tried to explain who might be in charge of what here.Regarding any dust, you could always reach out to us and we would've made sure to come by and clean the floor for you again! We are very serious about our cleaning.We still hope you had a great vacation and were glad to see that the rest was ok!Kind regards, Yasmine

ZERO FLEXIBILITY WITH CUSTOMERS

The bad part is that limited service from this chain is expected, but ZERO flexibility shouldn't be the way to take care of customers. I requested check out extension, and they wanted to charge. They recommended a service from an app called luggage hero, I made the reservation with them and the place was closed at time to drop the luggage at 10:30, 30 minutes prior to check out time. I was sweetening, carrying three 23 kgs suitcases 4 stares down and in the streets, with a flight to catch at the end of the day, after 20 days traveling in Scandinavia. I called their emergency telephone number and the answer was: THERE IS NOTHING WE CAN DO ABOUT IT. Therefore, customers should pray that everything ends up perfect with their stay because they are not helpful, having ZERO flexibility, even under this kind of circumstance. The apartment is well located and new, but has no view and ours was on the 4th floor with no elevator.

Dear Fernando, We are sorry you feel this way. We offered you a late checkout time at 1pm instead of 11am, that comes with a fee of 200 dkk, which is very common in hotel and hotel apartments, but you declined this offer.Since we have over 170 apartments, all being booked now during high season unfortunately we cannot offer luggage being left in the apartment after check out time, for our team needs to be able to clean and make it ready for the next guest checking in at 3pm. But therefore we still want to give out other options for our guests, and suggest to look into luggage hero, in case they need storage after/before their checkin/out.Since they can store their luggage for 2 hours for free with them. This is just a recommendation we want to give out.But since it's not our company we can not control if there are any issues with it.Although I tried to reach you during this, to be there for you and see if we could do anything, but you didn't want to give out your number to us, so it was hard to assist. Ofcourse we feel sorry you feel this way, we always try to be there for oúr guests. But we can not break the service rules we have, and can only offer the service that is available. So everything keeps flowing together.  We still hope you had a great visit here in Copenhagen and that you had continued safe travels!Kind regards, Team at Daniel and Jacobs apartments.

Convenient apartment when traveling with small kid

The apartment was great when travelling with small kids. It had a small kitchenette (no stove) to prepare quick and convenient breakfast and snacks. Location was amazing and central to all attractions. Would definitely stay here again.
