What a disaster and terrible experience

DONT DO IT! Book anywhere else but here. Read the reviews and take the warning. The place is trying to scam people to camp in their primitive pricey backyard. There are no trash cans, no bear boxes, no water to drink, which was also not mentioned during booking. We arrived at 6:00pm to our assigned tent and found the property destitute. The tent had wet foam mattresses that will Mildew, pools of water on the uneven ground, everything was wet and uncared for. Zipper to tent didn’t close and area around tent overgrown. Got a text around 6:20pm saying they are canceling our reservation and they took down many tents hours ago. Now it’s 7pm on a Saturday night with tired kids from traveling all day with no place to stay for 2 nights. Check in was at 4pm and we got a text near 6:30pm saying we needed to find new accommodations. We ended up barely finding a place on a weekend night but had to pay an outrageous amount of money. Place is overgrown, no place to sit or park, it’s a joke. Go camp in your own backyard for a better experience. Pictures online are not what it looks like! Beware! Then they tried to give us credit to use next year, but I wanted a refund. I’d never go back.

Basic. The round canvas tents are situated on a hillside - groups up to 3. They are on a mountain - so expect to sleep tilted. There is no electricity in the yurts. The shower/bath house was as expected, not clean but not gross. Solar lights left for use did not have charge - so we used our phones to see. Ok for a cheap night close to West Glacier- but would be a rough extended stay. It’s camping - basic camping. I probably would look for a different option next time.

Very cool campground! Appears to be fairly new and will only get better with time as they add new features and establish the sites.

I loved that the First Lady I spoke to was kind and allowed us to switch tents, unfortunately the bathrooms did not have any paper towels or soap in the shower which we expected after our stay at wonder camp Yellowstone. Unfortunately we had to leave early due to an unexpected issue.

Was a seamless visit, quiet before the long weekend.

A lot of good stuff here, but very poor customer service by the hosts. Check-in instructions were strangely written from only the perspective of the lower tents, but we were in the upper tents, so there was confusion (among everyone) about where to find the bathrooms and showers. The trailer for the showers was not clearly marked, as only some of the bays had showers. The trailer had been recently serviced as the trashes were emptied, but the soap dispensers (in all six bathrooms) did not have soap. After notifying our host, this was not rectified over our three days there. The second night, one of the other campers was blasting music long past dark. The hosts also did not address this. After we had checked out and left, we received a message saying everything was “restocked now,” as if we were coming back that night. Too late! Also, no response at all concerning the noise curfew violator. As far as the good, the beds were very comfortable (although the ground was slanted), and the tents were nice. Doubly nice that we did not have to set anything up. The tent sites were clearly numbered and marked. And the location and proximity to the West Glacier park entrance was pretty much unbeatable.

Almost everything about our stay here was NOT what was advertised on their website. We were deceived! When we arrived, the tent we were given had a broken zipper and wouldn’t close. We were then given a different tent, which also had a broken zipper, but we were able to jimmy it to close most of the way. The tents were set on uneven dirt patches, so nothing was level. We had to rearrange the furniture inside to get it level enough so we didn’t slide out of bed. One night it rained and the tent flooded. There were big puddles all over the floor, and everything we had got soaked! We had our luggage on the floor since there were no luggage racks or benches, so a lot of our stuff got completely ruined. The solar lights they provided didn’t work at all. Thankfully we had headlamps with us. The bathrooms were small stalls on a trailer with RV style toilets. The water on the property was non potable, so we couldn’t get a drink or brush our teeth safely! Water In the showers would go from ice cold to scalding hot, with no in between. To keep the water on you had to hold down a chain while showering. The “campfire area” was not close to the tents, and was overgrown with grass and weeds. There were no picnics tables anywhere on the grounds, and nowhere to cook on our camp stove or wash dishes. Parking was inadequate; there were not enough spaces for everyone. You can’t just put beds with pretty pillows in a big tent and call it “glamping”. STAY ELSEWHERE!!!

The Wander Camp at Glacier National park isn’t as advertised. If you are going to stay in the “clamping tents” find somewhere else… the tents leaked terribly during a rain and a lot of our stuff was ruined. The lifters are deceiving and the beds in the tents are not level causing the bed to slide on the frame.
