Impressed and would stay again!

Impressed and would stay again. Great price. Room was large and clean. It was a nice room. We found the beds to be comfortable. No bugs, we always check. Check in and check out simple. We did not use the pool, so not sure how that was. Good pizza restaurant nearby. Fridge and microwave. No coffee maker, but plenty of outlets to bring your own. Downside: Carpet on stairs leading to second floor were pretty stained, probably would be better not to be carpeted. Doors leading into motel didn't seem to lock. Seemed anyone could walk into the hallways without a key. Now, it is possible they locked them in the evenings but one door appeared to not have a lock. Just something to keep in mind. The door to our room locked fine. Surrounding area would have been decent if it hadn't been for the abandoned restaurant out front. Tall weeds growing around it and there was a man(possibly homeless?)hanging out near the side of the restaurant in the weeds. This was not the fault of the motel. There was a holiday inn express right next door and they also had a view of the abandoned restaurant.
