Publié le 5 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayFabulous accommodations - beautiful setting, just steps from the ocean in a quiet, working fishing (lobstering) cove with a trail behind the cabin. The cabin was spotless and truly had everything we might need. The excellent reviews are all true!
We only regret that we didn't get to meet our hosts, but hope to go back and try again. In our opinion, the Schoodic peninsula is the best part of Acadia, and this cabin with its wonderful history is worth a return trip.

Spectacular Gem!

Relaxing, cozy and peaceful stay

As well as recommendations of places to see, restaurants, and places to shop. It was perfect vacation spot. Was sad to leave (and to come back to 110 degree weather).

Cabin getaway
Publié le 13 août 2024 sur HomeAwayThis is a lovely property! The hosts have really thought of and supplied everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location is peaceful and beautiful - close enough to sites if you'd like to visit (like Acadia) and far enough away to "get away from it all" if that's more your speed. We did a mix of both...some tour days, some down days.
The hosts provide a guide book with tons of useful information and helpful instructions. Very thoughtful!

Private, Well-Thought Out Layout
Publié le 1 août 2024 sur HomeAwayOur family of five enjoyed this cabin as our base on our trip to explore Acadia NP! Our kids (15, 13, 9) enjoyed the outside area with the games and blueberries. In addition to exploring Acadia, we appreciated the history of the area and ideas of places to explore that the owners provided. Look no further for a great place to stay!

A lovely and relaxing stay

Superb interior renovation: This cosy cabin feels spacious and light.
Publié le 15 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayWith high ceilings, lots of windows, two decks, and plenty of outdoor space, this cabin is a gem. Rooms are small but well-planned. It's a complete renovation that is superb. And it's the best stocked cabin I've ever stayed in. There's even a path through the woods to a nearby pond. It was quiet, peaceful, and in an area that has lots of trails on preserved land.
