Beautiful location and property, didn’t want to leave.

Loved the property and its location. Some minor cleaning issues, but did not detract greatly from a great stay.

Five of us sisters, and our husbands spent a glorious seven days at this little bit of paradise. The house was perfect for us. The bedrooms were all spacious and the linens were lovely. Checking in was very easy and we settled in on the first day with a visit to the beach just a short distance in front of the house. We spent every day on that private little beach and the dolphins swam by every afternoon to fill us with delight. The views are fabulous the shopping Centre is close by and it’s a very short drive to Nelson Bay for some retail therapy . We all agreed. This was the most beautiful holiday we have had for a long time. Thank you stays we will definitely be rebooking.

The location by the beach is fantastic and perfect for young families to explore or swim in warmer weather. Beautifully appointed house. Highly recommended.

The location of this house was just perfect, with a large lawn and garden between the house and the beach. It was the perfect spot for the kids to play and adults to relax. The house was well appointed with plenty of cooking utensils / crockery and the two kitchens were really handy. The rest of the house was fine, it was comfortable but needs some updates. The bathrooms are very tired. There were broken lamps in the bedrooms and a lack of powerpoints. There was not enough toilet paper / washing machine tablets provided to get through a 5 day stay (this is not a cheap house, this should have been included). The house is not safe for toddlers, there is no way to close off the internal stairs, and also a set of stairs heading down from the balcony. The roller blind pulls were not secured to the wall and were loose, which is a hazard for little kids. Overall we enjoyed our stay, however I would stay in a different house in the same location next time. The real trouble started after we had left. While vacuuming the house before leaving, the vacuum broke. We alerted the property manager after checking out. Our significant security deposit was held while they liaised with the owner about the vacuum. Eventually the majority of our deposit was refunded, but they hung on to some until the owner had determined whether the vacuum would be repaired under warranty. The implication of this was that we had somehow misused the vacuum while cleaning the house. Four weeks later the owner finally refunded the remainder of our deposit, as they were able to have the vacuum repaired at no cost. This is not an acceptable way to treat guests, it's been a waste of our time and a stress we did not need returning from holidays. As a result we cannot recommend this house as a place to enjoy a relaxing holiday.
