Peaceful Retreat

Cute and comfortable cabin, nicely decorated. Local eggs, honey and fresh eggs were waiting for us! Enjoyed our stay with our dog who was very welcomed.

A hidden gem

Little corner of paradise
Publié le 12 févr. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe absolutely loved our stay here! The location is perfect: Right next to downtown Cornucopia (so you can find basic items easily), and just minutes from some of the coolest trails in the area.
We stayed with two of us and our two pups. The pups adored the cabin and settled right in. The cabin is really adorable and cozy, very clean and updated, and has everything you need (including a well-equipped kitchen). It was easy to communicate with Erin.
We hiked two nearby trails, the Lakeshore Trail and Lost Creek Falls, both of which we highly recommend.
Our only regret was that we weren't able to stay for longer.

Apostle Island visit
Publié le 28 août 2023 sur HomeAwayBeautiful scenery, challenging hiking and kayaking. The cabin was nicely appointed and the host was very responsive. Washing machine did not work too well - hope they got that fixed. Everything else was fine.

Fabulous Cabin!
Publié le 22 août 2023 sur HomeAwayMy overall experience from booking to staying was great! The cabin was better than I anticipated. It was super clean and it’s very well decorated. It’s not a “cheap” place to stay by any means. It feels much more luxurious. Erin’s communication and accommodations were fantastic. One of the biggest things I needed in a place was AC and the AC there works fantastically. My husband and our friends all greatly complimented the place and how nice it was. Everyone enjoyed their stay.
The only “complaint” from all of us are the beds. It feels everywhere else in the house was greatly thought of and picked out with great care, however, the beds are VERY hard and springy, so if you don’t like hard beds, I suggest bringing a pillow top topper to sleep on to make it more comfortable. This did not greatly affect the overall way we felt about the place and our stay, though. Don’t let the hard beds deter you from this fabulous place! You won’t regret your stay! If we ever go back up there, we will definitely book it again!
