Great experience

We had a lovely time. There are 3 birthdays at the end of Oct. in our family and traditionally, we take a trip. While we enjoyed our stay, there were a few things that we had issues with. The shower in the master leaks, The oven doesn’t work properly (we ended up burning a cake & some cookies because the temp couldn't be regulated) towards the end of our stay, we noticed ants in the kitchen and had to throw away food because they got into it. Other than tgat, we enjoyed our stay. Thank you for having us!

40th Birthday Adventure

We came to celebrate my husbands 40th birthday and needed a nice and large home close to the beach. The home was gorgeous and spacious, with a quick walk to the ocean front. There was plenty of space to accommodate our party of 10+, including pets. I would definitely stay here again!

Great location but property needs some work

The house was in a great location and was an easy walk to the beach. We loved that it was in a private neighborhood and at the end of a cul-de-sac so the younger kids could ride their bikes on a safe street. The house was clean, check in was easy and there were plenty of linens provided. We did experience a few issues while we were there which some were corrected and some were not. The pool was cloudy when we arrived and had lots of sand. I requested services 3 times and did not receive a response. The door lock broke and the oven thermostat stopped working. The local maintenance man came out and fixed the door lock and also fixed the broken pool cues for the kids but the oven had to be referred to an outside vendor. He was able to replace the heating element the next day but we had the same issue happen again. Basically the temperature was set for 275-350 but the broil was constantly on. We lost 2 family favorite meals resulting in around $300 worth of lost groceries. The first time we lost 6 racks of ribs which were burnt to a crisp at 275 for 1 hour. We then lost 2 pans of our special french toast. Luckily we brought a griddle and were able to salvage the rest of the french toast. The refrigerator downstairs also did not keep things cool and smelled like rotten fish. Every time you opened the door it made the entire downstairs smell like a fish market. The curtains in the mid-level front bedroom also fell off the wall on my nephews head.

Needs Cleaning and Major Updates

Upon arrival the door code box would not work. We contacted Vacasa and never got a response. After 15 minutes, we finally got the door to open. However, it would not work the rest of our stay. We never could reach Vacasa to get the issue resolved. We had to leave a door unlocked to get in and out of the house. The house was dirty and the furniture and appliances were broken. The dishwasher leaked, the microwave turn table would not turn, and the refrigerator would not make ice. The mattresses were old, covered in urine, and would fold up around you. The bathtub in the master bath was covered in mold. I hope these issues can be fixed. We would not recommend this house to anyone.

Great neighborhood but house needs work

So the location was perfect, at the end of a cul de sac, close to the beach. But the house was not exactly as advertised and needed work. We had to have the maintenance people come out and fix the shower door and replace the shower head in the master bathroom because neither worked. The dining room table, while large enough to seat a lot of people, was broken and propped up on pieces of wood and sat crooked. The ice maker in the fridge didn’t work, there was not a door on one of the big cabinets in the kitchen and several other things they were just not right and made it not super safe with a small child (23 months). The bedrooms didn’t have mattress pads on the beds and the master bedroom had lots of stains on the very uncomfortable mattress. The headboard in that bed moved whenever you did, the pillows were not in great shape, the blankets were in rough shape, stained in some rooms and the ones in the closet were covered in animal hair. The living room furniture smelled TERRIBLE. Like it had been in storage for 6 months. Even the kids complained. There was mold/mildew growing on most of the windows, and there was a hole in the backsplash behind the kitchen sink that was tapped up with medical tape and mildew growing on it as well. There were closets packed to the ceiling with paint cans and some other materials not safely locked away. The pool was in okay shape but could definitely use some TLC. I could go on but you get idea.

Great stay despite hiccups

Comfortable house and had a wonderful 4/ngt. stay. Easy 2/block walk to beach and enjoyed daily sunrise from the deck. Loved that we could bring our hypoallergenic 15lb Maltese with us. Hiccups encountered as a result of the house not having been properly inspected. Promised beach chairs in a broken, rusted heap upon arrival. Two rusted gas grills. One had no tank and the the other had such rusted pilot strip that flames dangerously shot out either side. Oven door doesn’t quite close tightly. Primary bedroom - bathroom door doesn’t close properly and door handle loose could be locking hazard. Closests need editing and organizing and liv room furniture needs to be replaced. Overall, still enjoyed our stay and would return!

Beautiful property , walkable to the beach , huge kitchen and dining area for large gatherings

Loved this place , great place for large gathering (we were 14 people and it was perfect ). Few things to improve - one of the bathrooms’ door wasn’t working and we couldn’t use it. Internet was extremely slow.

Making the best of the situation

Kitchen is too small for 10 adults, both outside grills were totally gross and unusable. More inside seating would have been nice. We had a rainy week and had to spend more time inside than out
