Excellent Value! We had a pleasant 3 night stay. The staff were friendly and attentive. The negative: The room had a mildew smell. The bed was not very comfortable, stiff like sleeping on a spring board.

We stayed in September. They do not staff the lobby desk 24 hrs I guess because it’s “off season” my kids locked us out of the room around 2 am we had to sleep outside. The office didn’t open until 8 am the next morning. The guy at the desk was rude about letting me use the office phone. Due to unforseen circumstances my phone charger wasn’t working, my car was dead and I had two small children. I ended up having to walk over a mile with them to the store to get a phone charger because the guy was so off put about letting me use the phone in the lobby to call for assistance. Not all the staff was like that but his attitude and lack of compassion was enough that I will never stay there again

Motel not a hotel
Pro: very friendly staff, nice pool and hot tub, breakfast was good, good location, outdoor BBQ. Cons: This is a motel not a hotel, very old building needs major updates! Rooms smell musty, we purchased 2 scented candles that burned 24/7 to cover the smell. Smoking was permitted on balcony, the smell waffed straight into all the rooms. Rooms had no closet space, chairs and sofa were old and wore out. No room cleaning service, we had to take our towles to the front desk to get clean ones.

6th time staying here and will always continue to stay here every time I'm in Port Aransas!! Clean, all the staff are very friendly and willing to help if you have a problem. The rooms are very spacious. The area around the building is always clean and safe.
