We came from Minnesota for my mother's memorial service. Stayed for 6 days.
Good air conditioning, comfortable beds and couch, free private parking, spacious, great area.
But . . . The property was notably not in good repair, window blinds, broken chairs, stains on couch, extremely poor paint jobs and holes in walls and ceilings (I'm not talking historic recreation).
The cleanliness was spotty - some things were very clean that often are missed (e.g. dust on pictures), while other things were obviously missed, moldy shower and bath mat, dirty doors, floors, kitchen counter.
They offered to re-clean.
Door lock is poor (dead bolt was non-functional and the lock was only a modern closet lock).

Fun destination
Posted Jun. 8, 2024 on HomeAwayGreat location close to all the unique shops. Food options and ice cream a plus. Was there for the ballon festival too. Did the self guided tour and canal boat ride. Always had a parking spot out back. Great weekend getaway

Posted Mar. 23, 2024 on HomeAwayVery nice. The women that stayed with me thought they needed newer bedding sheets etc. A more if a womans touch. I was ok with the decore. The only thing I would do is refresh with some new paint. Otherwise very nice. Maxx did a great job with details on checkin .I will be back Thanks John Slack.

Beautiful Autumn Getaway
Posted Oct. 16, 2023 on HomeAwayLocated in a nice quiet neighborhood, Caroline’s Place was perfect for us. Located close to shopping, dining and sightseeing we were able to walk to most activities. We also enjoyed the full kitchen for breakfast, dine in and board game night. Hosts are really nice and helpful. Lovely 2 bedroom apartment with living room and nice large screen TV. Apartment is very clean and tidy. Will definitely consider a return visit.

Loved the ambiance of the historic building. Location is perfect and the outside deck was a nice surprise. Parking is adequate & safe. Great place to stay.
