We saw the Tavern hotel the last time we were in Cottonwood (stayed in an Airbnb), and we decided to book here the next time we came. It was so convenient to have our home base right on the same street we were visiting. We visited to go wine tasting in old town Cottonwood, and we had the best time. The room looked just like the pictures on the website. Modern new furnishings, and the room was spotless. The staff was friendly and welcoming. We were lucky to find a parking spot everyday, it seems their parking lot is popular for those visiting old town Cottonwood. We will be back!

A real gem! You couldn’t ask for a more friendly and accommodating staff. This hotel was a welcome change from chain hotels. We are mobility challenged seniors and we had no problems with access anywhere. Breakfast is across the street and excellent! This is a great spot to use as a base for exploring the area including Sedona. If we return to the area, we will definitely stay here again.

I have stayed here 3 times and have loved it! But this time we had people slamming doors at 4am and 6 am. We didn’t get much sleep and the ac shut off at one point where the room was hot. Not sure what happened this time around ? But staff etc was great as always.
