This motel is in a genuine country setting, with sheep grazing in the next door paddock. With only 6 rooms it is cosy and offers self service breakfast and mini bar. It gives a very relaxing experience and is just 4 km from Cowra CBD. Although requiring some maintenance updates, it offers a charming stay.

Disappointing

Tired older style motel with what looked like some semi-permanent residents. These guests sat outside on the very small veranda smoking most of the afternoon and evening. Unfortunately a lot of the smoke drifted into our room. The motel is for sale and the owner was not present leaving the welcome to a friend who while pleasant was not as helpful as possible. Also the breakfast offering was extremely basic including margarine instead of butter so all in all a disappointment. No cooked breakfast was available.

The owner was more than helpful, even booking a dinner table for us that night. The room was fine and the motel was set in a pleasant rural setting. Would stay there again if in the area.

Picturesque and comfortable

Spacious room with nice dining area. Fridge is a bit full of products to buy, but we had a car fridge so it didn't worry us. Very nice quiet location and comfortable bed.

Thank you for your review. People who only stay one night don't normally need much fridge space and we like to have our very reasonably priced wine, beer, soft drinks, water and cheese&Bix available for our guests. Tired place

The whole place is tired and needs updating. The pool was dirty. The owner was not happy and not very friendly.

Thank you for your review. We have had regular dust storms over the past several months and as soon as I vacuum the pool we get another one so no real apologies for the "dirty Pool" The pool now has its cover on and will re-open for summer, The updating is happening as and when possible as I am on my own - weather, time, money and energy permitting. Now that the weather is more reasonable more can be done. It is most unusual that you found me not friendly and unhappy. I always enjoy my guests and take great pleasure in being friendly and hospitable but perhaps I was not 100% that day. It happens
