Very budget

Very budget. Says air conditioning but just a ceiling fan. Big roaches. No wifi except in lobby. Location is close to airport and maybe 10 minutes rickshaw to beach.

Hotel failed to provide the rooms we paid for

The details of the room contract for “Economy Double or Twin Room” states: • 2 Twin Beds (yes) • 226-sq-foot (21-sq-meter) room, balcony/patio with beach views (no) • Entertainment - Cable channels (no) • Food & Drink - Room service (no) • Bathroom - Private bathroom, free toiletries, and a shower (no shower – only an extremely dirty bucket) • Comfort - Air conditioning and daily housekeeping (no air conditioning) The website of the hotel states that there is wifi available in the rooms and hot water in the bath. Neither was provided, although there was wifi in the lobby. In addition, on January 29, I contacted the hotel manager on duty, a Mr. Jaheed. He confirmed that everything is in order and he also confirmed that the room toilets are western style toilets. It turned out that of the 11 rooms only one had a western style toilet. The rooms were extremely dirty and the bathrooms were absolutely disgusting. Expedia reports that Mr. Jaheed is unwilling to process a refund in spite of his breaking contract and the deception. Not a good experience.
