Great hotel terrible neighborhood

The hotel staff and food is great. We had a pleasant stay. But it is in a terrible neighborhood. Far from the beach. The towels were super old and the bedding was 1 star.

Great location for beach etc, but very noisy

Great location for the beach, restaurants all around, near bus station and complimentary airport run very welcome. However.....the noise! 2 night stay and incessant over loud music from one stall or restaurant very off putting (the early morning call to prayer and the fighting street dogs i could live with though)

A nice hotel with amazing customer service. The room was clean and well organized. The staff was very helpful and most attentive. It was good value for the money. Glad that we stayed here.

Arranged Room in a 5 Star Hotel

I booked through Hotels.com but they said they don't have any room left for me. Then they arranged a 5 star hotel for me without any extra cost. It's amazing to have such service from the hotel.

It is a good place to be, but not great. The property itself is good and facilities are okay, staffs are great and helpful. The major issue for the hotel is its location (8-10 min walk from Shugandha point) and the conditions of the nearby street/block (open drainage right outside the hotel, disgusting smell, and noisy neighborhood). Other minor issues are: the breakfast is pretty ordinary, room service is not so great (faulty AC, battery-less clocks, etc), and the only elevator is switched off from midnight to 7 am!!!! (horrible!). Despite these issues, the overall experience wasn't that bad. FYI: We only stayed once for a couple of days; and some of the issues might be temporary, IDK, hope so.

Wonderful staff... huge room

Staff is wonderful! Very friendly. Breakfast was very Asian, but there were eggs. My room, a royal suite, was HUGE. Problem with the area is that they were doing major work in the street out front making it difficult to get in and out (at times)
