Maison d hôte très jolie Décorée avec beaucoup de goût Dans un quartier calme et proche du centre à pied La piscine est plutôt un bassin d agrément

Hola, thank you for your review and letting us know you like our decoration and our location. We have a larger pool on other lot across the street that guests can use (mainly for summer stays, as water is cold).

Points positifs: emplacement à quelques minutes de la place principale, quartier calme, restaurants tout proche, joli style, jacuzzi, très grand lit, climatisation, wifi, jolie salle de bain Points négatifs: petit déjeuner bon mais pas très consistant, le paiement de la chambre ne se fait pas sur hotels.com mais sur paypal, du liquide est demandé une fois sur place pour compléter le paiement

The staff is not friendly and when I came back late the door was locked from the lobby. I tried ringing bell and no one came out. I had to push the door open. Room doesn’t have working fan.

Hello Cesar,Sorry about your comment, but I do not know why you could not get in. We provided you with keys for the room and main door, so you were able to open any time any night if coming back late.Ceiling fan works and is turned on with a switch next to the bed.Also we were in contact before by WhatsApp and you did not send me any message about the ceiling fan, but received other message from you.Also sent you a message at check out asking if you liked your room and received no bad comment.Hope you are not giving us a bad review because you wanted to cancel and Expedia did not let you, but that is not our fault, as are Expedias rules.Regards

Muy cómodo, son muy flexibles para hacer salida tardía. Nosotros siempre nos quedamos aquí para cuando vamos a competir a Cozumel. Muy limpio y acogedor, muchas gracias!

My New Best Place to Stay in Cozumel

Excellent value for a well-appointed and spotless large room (Limon Suite) just a short walk to the center of town. Takes about 10 minutes to Mega and 8 minutes to the Aqua Safari pier in front of Casa Mexicana. The property has a set of stairs leading to the front door of the living areas, always locked. You get a set of three keys: the outside door, your room door, and the room safe. Bottled water is provided along with a small refrigerator. You can refill your water bottle from a cooler on the second floor. Breakfast served from 0730 to 1000. Most of the time I ate at 0730 due to scuba diving pickup and the friendly staff was always ready on time. Memo communicated quickly with WhatsApp. You must Venmo (the easiest way) the first night's cost to hold your reservation and then pay the remainder via Venmo prior to arrival or in cash when you arrive. The common lounging areas are comfortable and private. There are several good restaurants within a 5 minute walk. I discovered I enjoyed the superior accommodations more than having a beach/ocean front view with a pool for about half the price. I definitely will stay here when I return to Cozumel on future dive trips.

Wouldn't recommend for a long stay

Pros: -Cute design inside the property and the rooms, nice balcony with a hammock. -Good proportion breakfast that was served in a nice backyard covered with trees. Cons: -When you arrive, you have to wait at the door for someone to open. We only had to wait 5-10 minutes. -Cash payment only. -Only Spanish speaking host, who wasn't very welcoming and asked for the payment at the door even before we entered the property. -Awful bath towels that are extremely crusty that hurts your skin. -Internet is not reliable. -No one at the property when you need something.

Hello and thank you for your anonymous review.We are glad that you liked our design, rooms and balcony.As for the Cons, I assume that you had booked the same day you arrived or late the day before, since you said that it was a surprise that we do not accept credit cards. There is an immediate message from Expedia back to guests that book with us, letting them know that we do not accept credit cards and will as cash (we have other options like Venmo or bank transfer, but Expedia does not mentioned them). We also write an email letting the guests know about not accepting the credit card and requesting payment by Venmo or transfer ahead of arrival, to avoid being requested payment in cash at arrival (and avoid a longer time to get your room).Unfortunately you did not check Expedia message or ours if you had booked with more than a day before.We also request arrival time to be able to have your room ready and if already paid, is a very fast check in.For us, is very complicated when we do not know your arrival time, specially if you did not pay before, since we do not know if you are going to arrive, and might be doing other hotel tasks when you arrive unexpected, and that creates a slow, bad experience at arrival. The woman receiving you is only waiting to shoe you your room and receive payment if already agreed with guest that payment will be at arrival for balance. Not to request payment and explain you that we do not used your credit card and are expecting payment other way (that was done by Expedia before).If you answer our email, then we start contact before and suggest also WhatsApp or SMS, to be in contact with me, that speak English and can answer doubts, or organize for repairs needed at your room. If you did not make this contact with me, is very difficult to give you service. We are a very small hotel and decided to avoid extra staff at site, to give you a nice room at a very affordable rate. It works very well with passengers that contact me before and get all my messages.Internet is reliable and if you had a problem, could have been handled by me, also we have several routers in the building and could have give you another password to use at common areas while we fix the one in your room. Service is from the local company and it works well like 97% off the time (to not say 24/7).Sorry both the towels, I will check if there are some towels that need to be replaced. It sounds really strange that our towels hurt you, sorry about that.We really hope you stay again with us, and now that can establish contact with me before arrival, might enjoy it more.Regards,Memo Lopez
