Perfect weekend getaway

Delightful character country cottage

We really enjoyed the pizza oven and sitting in the patio. The cottage itself is a great blend of modern and character and a great base for exploring the surrounding Kent area and sites.

Lovely barn in countryside setting

Loved the quirky decor, fluffy towels and the welcome basket was a really thoughtful touch. The outdoor pizza oven is great, definitely worth trying. Cajsa is very welcoming and communication was excellent. The family live next door and are always available if you need them. The barn is conveniently located for visiting rye, camber, battle, Hastings etc...The photos on the website are very accurate. If you are a light sleeper the downstairs room may be better as some traffic noise can be heard from the room upstairs. Overall a relaxing stay, thank you.

Weekend Break
Publié le 4 juill. 2022 sur HomeAwayThe property, the owners and the setting were really nice and if you want the peace of the countryside but access to plenty of things to do this is a great choice. It is a lovely place in a beautiful part of the world. The accommodation was spacious and quirky with some nice touches throughout. The property also benefits from really nice outside spaces too with the patio area with its seating pizza oven and views and the balcony again with great views. We loved our stay and would highly recommend "The Barn"
