Excellent time at Waters Edge!
Publié le 1 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayMy husband and I took our three children to Waters Edge for four nights in August. We had such a great time enjoying the property. We fished in the pond and lounged in the hot tub. The cottage had everything you could need and more. The kitchen was fully stocked and the bathroom had more than enough towels for all five of us. The washer and dryer was super handy - I came home with zero dirty clothes! There were tons of games to choose from and we enjoyed most of our meals out on the deck. We used the BBQ quite a bit as well.
Upon arrival the first thing we noticed was how spotless the cottage was. Everything was exactly as we expected. Our kids loved the loft and the beds were all super comfortable. We loved how private the property was and we will 100% be staying at Waters Edge again. The host was super responsive as well which we greatly appreciated.

Anniversary trip

Family Get Away
Publié le 19 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayWe stayed two nights at the cabin. It was accurately described. Extremely clean and comfortable.
The entrance was difficult to find due to multiple driveways in one spot, weeds had grown up over the address sign. There is no cell phone service, directions gps did not work.
I had saved screenshot of directions which helped us find the location.
The hot tub and pond were nice features of the property. My sons had a hard time fishing because the weeds around the pond were so high. They still had fun and managed to catch a couple bass.
There is only one bedroom and one bathroom.
There is a toilet in basement and washer and dryer. The Room is open so my kids would not use the bathroom down there due to lack of privacy.
We had a family of 5. The loft has three beds but is open and no privacy if you need that. Beds were comfortable and bedding was nice.
We enjoyed our trip it was close to ask cave and hocking hills.
No close stores or cell service, but a short drive to a little country type store for food or essentials you might have forgot.
We Would stay again.

Great Getaway
Publié le 15 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayThe cabin was spotlessly clean and just as advertised. Very secluded and perfect for a relaxing getaway while visiting Hocking Hills. Close to the trails and the attractions. The hot tub and fire pit were great and the kitchen was well equipped. Only complaint was that the mattress in the master bedroom was uncomfortable. We really enjoyed our stay.
