A True Hidden Gem on the Coast
Publié le 28 nov. 2022 sur HomeAwayArriving at the Shiraz Boutique Bed and Breakfast is like being transported to another time. Not only is it a historic house, filled with beautiful antiques from all over the world (painstakingly selected by the lovely owners, David and Alex), but this is a real, honest-to-god bed and breakfast, folks. One of the last of its kind where the owners greet you with a pot of tea, make you breakfast, and will sit and chat with you to learn about your travels and regale you with stories of their own. Oh, and the breakfast...my god...the fluffiest, most delicious egg frittata/souffle we've ever eaten! We stayed in the Asia room which had a magnificent jacuzzi tub and antique furniture from the 1700s. Truly the most unique stay with the warmest of hosts who clearly have a passion for hosting people in their home and making them feel welcome and comfortable. We wish we could have stayed more than one night!

Vrbo has double booked us tried to cancel but they have not got backed to me yet poor communication

Lovely accommodations, gracious hosts, great breakfasts
Publié le 12 sept. 2022 sur HomeAwayHighly recommended!!! Only thing to know is that rooms are on the second floor, with a set of fairly steep stairs. Our hosts, though, cheerfully carried all our luggage in and out.

Relaxing and elegant
Publié le 11 août 2022 sur HomeAwayWe pulled in, said hi to Alex who was watering his beautiful roses, as we approached the front door, David opened the door and greeted us with a warm welcoming smile. The outdoor, dining and common areas are very well appointed and elegant. The firepit outside was wonderful. I could have slept in the comfy bed forever! The water for the tub could have been hotter if I could one thing to improve and the breakfasts were splendid! Will return!

Beautifully decorated room, very comfortable, the owners are helpful and friendly, breakfast was delicious. I would definitely stay here again.

Great property and hosts!

Our suite (African Safari) was spacious, with great views, and the hosts made sure we were not lacking for any supplies or amenities. Alex prepared a sumptuous breakfast each morning with so many delicious goodies, we often ended up skipping lunch. One morning he even surprised us with an Indian lentil and vegetable soup, which was really delicious. We appreciate the effort they put in to make our stay memorable, and would love to go back again!

Beautiful getaway !
