Summer Visit
The property is as listed. It worked perfectly for us as our daughter and son-in-law live across the road. We come to CB several times a year to visit and just need a convenient, comfortable place where we can work while we are in town. The only negative was the access in the unit was blocked because of road work but that was obviously not fault of anyone.

Wonderful stay!
Would definitely book here again! It was incredibly clean and well-appointed—the owner thought of everything (towels, tissues in every room, clear instructions, kitchen well-stocked). The condo is large and perfect for two people (or a family with 2 kids), since each bedroom has its own bathroom. When we experienced confusion over the parking situation and heat, the owner was very responsive and sent a maintenance person over right away. We arrived at night and it was well-lit and felt pretty safe (there's a code from the garage and front door, then a lobby, then you have to walk through lobby to get to the the unit, so multiple levels of safety). The only drawback is, because it is on the 1st floor, you do hear the pitter-patter of little feet from the unit above you. This is a side-effect of condo living. But I appreciated they weren't wearing shoes (no clomp-clomping) and there was zero late-night noise. Also, the parking garage is under the building and there's no code to get into the garage, so we got super confused and just parked in the guest spaces. All that said, I would 100% rebook this. Really great experience overall.

Great Condo in CB
We loved this property. It was clean, well stocked and short walk to the Westwall lift. It was quiet and had nice views. Barb was prompt in responding to our questions. Overall it was a great place for our family!

The condo was an awesome home away from home as we visited CB for my brother's wedding. The location is awesome and within easy walking distance to bus stops if you prefer to use the free transportation. Everything was clean and well appointed. We would gladly return again. Crested Butte is a hidden gem.

Wonderful week at Black Bear!
This was the sixth time we’ve stayed at Black Bear. It remains one of the nicest properties in Mt. Crested Butte. We enjoy the underground parking and proximity to the bus stop. The many windows provide for cool mountain breezes. The kitchen was well stocked.

Wonderful Condo
This condo is located in Black Bear Lodge. We stayed in June and hardly anyone else was there. The property is very clean and very nice. We used the hot tub several nights. It is a ground floor unit next to the bike trail. The altitude is higher than CB town, but we enjoyed our stay. Very nice property.

Wonderful location in beautiful Mount Crested Butte
We fell in love with Crested Butte so quickly, this was our second stay this year! Black Bear Lodge is very conveniently located to the mountain, to town, and to all of the wonderful ways to enjoy nature that abound in this area. The condo is very clean, well laid out, and communication with the property manager was terrific - all of our questions were anticipated before we could think to ask them and check-in/check-out was extremely easy. We also appreciated having access to the washer and dryer after a day on the mountain bike trails. If I were going to make any suggestions, it would be to add cable TV to the property. While it does say at the bottom of the listing that the TVs are streaming only, farther up in the listing, it mentions cable TVs in two different spots, so we expected to have it, but to be honest, we didn't miss it much, as our intention was never to be in the condo watching TV; it would have been nice but were able to make do with streaming. Also, while the condo has no AC, we really didn't need it at all with the perfect July weather and cool summer nights. The only issue that we had was that we could never get the patio door open (even with the instructions) from the living room, but we just ended up using the sliding door from the bedroom, so that wasn't a real problem either. We would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay. Had a couple of issues. First we had a hard time figuring out the code for the lobby and parking garage. Once we got in it was easy to get in and out. Tub was very dirty probably because the place had not been rented for awhile. Everything else was great!

We chose this property because of the many windows and it didn’t disappoint. Light open feel to the living room/dining room. We enjoyed the little private patio almost every day. Well-appointed. Conveniently located to mountain shuttle.

Super nice and comfortable condo walking distance to slopes
This is a beautiful, bright, updated, clean and well-kept 2/2 1st floor unit about a 5 minute walk to the nearest lift. From there, you can hop on a two-chair lift that takes you to an area where you can access all the good stuff. Note that the actual base area (i.e. where you rent skis and get your lift tickets) is a longer walk, so I would suggest knocking this out before you get all geared up to go. During this trip, we stayed in a bunch of VRBOs in a bunch of towns, and this unit was the best-kept, newest, and nicest overall.

Amazing property!
Could not recommend this property more highly. The location is perfect - two minute walk just across the street to the ski lift - with big windows and lots of light and great views. The check in and check out processes were quick and easy, the parking is convenient, the beds are comfortable, the kitchen has everything we needed, and the TV and internet worked great. Would love to stay again!
