Good location
Publié le 27 juin 2023 sur HomeAwayGood location. It was not noisy for us. Convenient to parking. It was nice to have a separate sitting room as I get up early and don't want to wake my husband. Bed was comfortable. Lighting could be improved. Overall a nice affordable stay.

Just good enough for five stars
Publié le 22 déc. 2022 sur HomeAwayOur stay wasn't perfect, but it's still good enough for a 5 star rating.
Pros:
- The location. It's a 2 minute walk to the main base. They also have a free ski valet (tips encouraged).
-The heated indoor/outdoor pool and hot tub were marvelous. You can get into the heated pool inside and swim out to the jacuzzi. You can leave all your stuff inside and avoid the dreaded cold/wet exit from the hot tub.
-The place was very clean.
-The pull out soft bed is surprisingly comfy.
Cons:
-Noise. The unit is on the first level right next to a heavily trafficked side entrance. The bedroom is right next to the entry door. It was kind of loud up until around 10 p.m. if you're a light sleeper, you won't love it.
-Some of the outlets don't work.
-The heating is inconsistent throughout the unit. The living room is around 5-10 degrees warmer than the sleeping area.
-The wifi isn't the best. You'll be able to stream a movie but can't overload the system with too many devices.

Cozy with corner view
Publié le 22 sept. 2021 sur HomeAwayThis is a large hotel room with a small kitchen dividing the bed from the living room. The bed was very comfy, the kitchen was adequate although not well appointed (no measuring cups, for example), and the couch had a view of a yard and garden that slope down to the street. During ski season I imagine this is a cozy, charming view. The room allowed dogs and was accessible from a side entrance to the hotel. For some reason the hot water went out at 4 in the afternoon but was back on by 8. During "shoulder season" not much is open up in Crested Butte Mountain, but there was a good coffee place near by and the town is near by. There is one nice out door seating area, but it is adjacent to the pool and I was self conscious about taking the dogs there. The pool can be entered and exited inside the building but you can swim under a barrier to go outside- very cool in the winter I bet.
