Publié le 6 mars 2024 sur HomeAwayThere was a strong musty smell when first entering in the dome. Opening windows resolved most of it. Must be air tight construction. Quiet and had everything we needed for our stay. Did set off the smoke alarm with just making toast so was good to know it worked. Did not use the big soaking tub due to concern of water conservation. Enjoyed local sites of Sand Dunes, Zapata Falls and Sand Dune Recreation hot springs and pools. Local grocery store and diner in Crestone looked good but, did not have a chance to eat there (8am-2pm)

A cozy little dome!

It was everything we needed for three nights in Crestone, from a comfy bed to a cozy bath. We especially appreciated the privacy from the connected dome next door. Overall, a wonderful stay!

Weekend getaway
Publié le 6 nov. 2023 sur HomeAwayStayed for a weekend (all you need for the sand dunes) and it was so peaceful. Watched the stars outside, saw so many shooting stars. The tub was nice, only downside was not many food options- but that’s how you know you’re in the middle of nowhere. Loved the dome, felt like we were in Star Wars.
