The motel was pretty much as expected from the pictures and description. It’s not a “destination” in and of itself, but it served our purposes as a place to stay before heading over to an extended stay on Smith Island. Our room had a full sized fridge (not sure if they all do) but this was very helpful as we were stocking on groceries to take with us on the boat to Smith Island.

Fantastic motel with a view of Somers Cove Marina

They go out of their way to be accommodating to you, they allowed us to use the pool while we waited for our room to be ready as we’re arrived very early. Very kind and friendly. The morning breakfast was a bonus: make your own waffles, cereal, Otis Spunkmeyer muffins, juice, coffee. We would definitely stay here again if we are in the area.
The view overlooking the marina was nice, it was a quick walk to visit friends in the marina.
