The property being almost 100 years old is well maintained and clean. Some of the details in the interior woodwork is quite magnificent. Our room, while small, was very clean and comfortable. I had read comments regarding road noise on road side rooms but our room which was on the road side was quiet. We enjoyed our stay and plan to stay here again.

Thank you for staying with us please come again. The windows on the ground floors were double insulated, which seems to solve the problem with the noise.

Our biggest problem to overcome is small town we are a destination you come for the ambience the era , which we pride ourselves on keeping the hotel true to its planner the design 1927. Yes you are not going to have the new modern but you will experience the best sheets large soft towels and friendly staff . The grounds are beautiful and our restaurant opens Thursday at 5pm Friday 5pm and Saturday 5pm. We have a beautiful dining room and the food menu is created by Ed Pivacek and prepaired by Brandon Green/Alex you won't get green beans out of a can here our menus and food are equal or better than any fancy restaurant anywhere period..

The property is a 1927 mansion in a very good condition. Operated with a minimal staff. Very elegant restaurant and bar, open 3 evenings per week. The breakfast room is nice and clean with reduced options for low calorie eaters.

The lodge sits on 18 acres. We have gardens and fountains and bike / walking trail behind the hotel We would love to open our restaurant more but due to an rural town of 1,700 residents and guest who dont always eat here it just doesn't make sense . Our goal is to give you the guest a feel of the by gone era. Our restaurant opens when we have the weekend business the food is delicious and the desserts are homemade. We would open the restaurant more if we had more traveled during the week.
