Step Back in Time

Perfect get away
Posted Jun. 30, 2024 on HomeAwayProperty just as listed. Lovely, quaint, out in the country. Quiet and clean which is always a plus for us. Not too far from hiking and good restaurants though we had everything we needed to make some good meals too. Felt like a real get away but not isolated. The yaks, chickens, barn cat all added to the experience. Would stay here again.

Very private and quiet setting
Posted Apr. 26, 2024 on HomeAwayWe were mainly on a golf vacation and this location was a short 10-20 minutes drive from wherever we wanted to go. Loved the history behind the property. We found Crossville to be a nice friendly small town. We were able to find restaurants we liked every night. It was also nice having the property owner so close. I would recommend this property for people that want a nice relaxing no hassle stay.

Posted Apr. 14, 2024 on HomeAwayWe are a 55+ senior softball team 6 of us stayed here. Was perfect for us. Basically needed a place to sleep and shower. Very clean and a lot of history in this house. We would rent it again.

Amazing historic homestead!

Don't change a thing. Magical!
Posted Dec. 27, 2023 on HomeAwayBetter than described. Loved being greeted by the barn cat and listening to the rooster. Took the pre arranged ranch tour. History all described by pictures in the downstairs bedroom. All decorated for Christmas. Very special place. Could not believe our luck in finding it online.
