Nice location but maintenance needed
Publié le 30 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayProperty is in a nice location, but unfortunately the property wasn't clean when we arrived. Dust, mould, spider webs, rusted BBQ, rusted Kettle. Bed was also uncomfortable and sheets had stains on them.
We only stayed one night instead of 11 nights and requested a refund.
With some extra attention to cleaning and detail it could have been a nice location.

Quirky perfection
Publié le 3 mars 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a wonderful break at Crowdy Head House. The location is perfect! Directly across the road from the beach which stretches for about 19km - and that means there’s always space to get away from other beach goers (even in busy times).
The house looks quirky, but is comfortable and has a rooftop eyrie from which you can enjoy sunset drinks with ocean views.
Besides the quiet perfection of the beach, there’s the proximity to National parks and interesting historical locations - great walks alongside the coastline and into coastal bush land; lighthouses and breakwaters.
And then, the unexpected addition to the perfect holiday location - the host (Graeme) is a masseur who offers a discount to guests. And, yes, his massages are fabulous!
If you aren’t relaxed enough by the location, add in a massage and you’ll go straight to boneless!

Graham (the owner) and his wife were amazing, they made the check in process seem less and attended the site while we were away to perform external maintenance to ensure we had a perfect stay. The property was as described and location was amazing with the beach and surf club (including cafe) located directly across the road. Absolutely amazing holiday, highly recommended.

Amazing location and great stay!

The rooftop lounge was an added bonus!
I would definitely stay here again.
