Beautiful and peaceful
Publié le 24 oct. 2021 sur HomeAwayWe picked this spot out because it was pet friendly and we had a wedding to attend in the area! This was the perfect, peaceful, clean old farmhouse. We loved the country feel of this home. We plan on staying again in the summer so our son can enjoy the creek and river right across the road that hardly no one comes down. So quiet. So beautiful!

New River Farmhouse
Publié le 14 juill. 2021 sur HomeAwayWe were very happy with this vacation. The location was great. It was private and everyone enjoyed the river experience. It was a little bit tough for some to get in and out of the river, but once you were in the water it was a nice part of the river to walk around in. I had fun fishing in the New River. The creek was nice also but not good for fishing.

Great location but fishing challenging

If you are wanting to fish, however, it's a difficult spot to fish from the bank and the creek is really small and low this time of year. For the hardcore fisher, I'd come early spring or later in the fall. for the family that wants to float the river, it's awesome. And the fireflies at night were spectacular. We'll be back definitely!!

Great weekend

Just what we needed.
