Good overall with some hiccups
The house was very convenient to the three sisters springs which was why we were in town-to see the manatees. We did not have the door code at check in but I was able to get in contact with the host after a few tries and get in. She said VRBO is supposed to send check in info but they did not. It was generally clean with the exception of some hairs from pets and people and not the cleanest shower curtain, but nothing terrible. The updates to the old house are pretty effective and good. Some things are inconvenient however like only one bathroom, the shower rod that has a divot that all the hooks get stuck in, and the high pressure in the cute but shallow bathroom sink that sprays water everywhere on the wooden counter and backsplash if you aren’t super careful. We didn’t use the pool due to a short stay. There were a lot of leaves in it... I don’t really see how it can be kept perfectly clean though since there are so many nice trees around! The area out back was nice and peaceful. For the one who slept on the pull out couch, we really appreciated the mattress pad and sheets right there handy. Drawbacks of that room are that the curtains don’t cover the whole windows and the pool equipment is kind of loud and annoying at night but not enough to keep someone awake.

Lovely little bungalow
We stayed here for a week and had a wonderful time! The house was clean and cute with lots of nice touches, like comfortable beds, a basket of toys, board games, plenty of places to sit, and of course the saltwater pool out back. Annie was very responsive. We highly recommend this property!

Convenient location and value
Property located in a convenient location and the value of rental with the private pool is worth it. Owner readily available to speak to with any questions. Comfortable beds, good A/C, all the needed supplies for a weeks stay. Off season in July so not a tremendous amount of traffic and people. Close to all attractions in and near Crystal River; kayaking, excursions, swimming, beach...if you decide to go to Tampa area...use the toll road for access as rt 19 is horrible with traffic and stop lights...worth the stay here.

Wish I had a pool to use my entire stay
House was neat, clean and tidy. We had no issues with the accommodations inside of the house. The problems were all with the outside appearance of the property and not being able the use the pool (the reason we booked this property) because it was desperately in need of a vacuum and the pump didn’t work for 3 DAYS!!’ The pictures on the site showed a shade sail above the patio next to the pool…this was non-existent. To protect my family from the harsh Florida sun I had no choice but to move a table and chair set with umbrella across the back yard to the patio. I didn’t realize that part of renting a property with Vrbo involved moving furniture and taking care of the pool. I reached out to the host 3 days ago to see if she would rectify the situation but haven’t heard back from her. What a shame!

Nice staycation
We are 4 ladies who ditched their kids, hubands, and responsibilities for a staycation. All in all we enjoyed the house. It was very clean, and centrally located to many shops and activities while not being on a main or busy road. However upon arrival at 310 pm we had not received a code for the door. We called host and waited on hold with vrbo. After about 15 min of no response and not sure what to do, I said maybe it's unlocked. It was and we went in. However if it hadn't been we would have been stuck outside quite a while. The pool said heated and it was quite cold. Otherwise the manatee decorations were cute, the layout worked for our group, kitchen was equipped for the meals we cooked, and general supplies were provided. We had a blast exploring the area

Thank you for making this home so cozy. We went to many places by car from the house but aside from the road construction we could have walked to stores. We loved the setting. Great coffee too! We loved your choice. The only thing lacking was a way to put our feet up after a long day. That would have been great.

Nice clean house and quiet neighborhood!
Enjoyable stay! The house was very clean and in a quiet neighborhood. The house was just as pictured. The furnishings were nice, although not comfortable. My only suggestion would be for a table and chairs to be outside for dining outside as well as a garbage can. The outside furniture wasn’t super comfortable either, however we sat out there almost the entire time and a good time was had nonetheless.

Family get away
Great place for a family to stay in Crystal River. Beautifully decorated but also kid friendly. Kids toys and pool were a plus! Comfy beds. We loved going to Guyers Ice Cream, Fort Island Beach, and the splash pad downtown. To top it all off very kind neighbors helped us jump our car when the battery died. We’d stay here again!
