Spotless, roomy cabin on a lake
Publié le 20 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayMy good friends and I go on a national parks trip annually and we always try to find somewhere outside of the park to stay. For our visit to Mammoth National Park, this place was a wonderful place to retreat to at the end of the day. The cabin was spotless. It had everything we desired -- a well "furnished kitchen," options for eating indoors and outdoors. We cooked many meals at home before venturing out. For us, as people who may need to do a little work, there was strong internet, which made up greatly for a less-than-ideal cell signal. It was roomy. As four adults, we loved having separate rooms. The actual queen-sized beds were ideal for us. And even though no one had pets, the dog friendliness was a wonderful feature. A few thoughts on what to consider. Great dock for sunsets. The hill that this cabin is on really should only be driven with a car with all wheel drive or high-horse power. We had one rental SUV and one sedan and left the sedan parked all week. There are enough linens for the full house, but if you have a bigger group than ours, you may want to consider bringing extra towels. There is are very slim pickins for fresh produce at the grocery stores. Buy seasonal produce at farm stands whereever you see it. And buy the bulk of groceries in the closest city before arrival. I wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Great family vacation spot!

Great stay!
Publié le 14 août 2024 sur HomeAwayThis property was great for our extended family vacation- right on the lake with a private dock for our boat! The roads to the property were pretty narrow and winding to pull a truck with a boat behind it but we got it there. We enjoyed evenings hanging out on the porch and the kids loved the bunk beds. Great place- would rent again

Perfect spot for summer fun
Publié le 27 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe Lakeview Cabin is a beautiful rustic environment with all the amenities you need. A great game room that kept the teenagers happy when we weren't on the Lake swimming, boating or fishing. Most fun we have had in years. Can't wait to come back next year.

Tucked Away Gem!

Hosts were great to work with; suggesting activities in the area for the us to explore with the kids. I highly recommend renting a boat from Wax Marina and exploring the lake for a day. The sunsets from the dock were beautiful and somthing we looked forward to each night. I would definitely stay here again!

Beauriful location with easy lake access!
Publié le 7 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayIt was a beautiful home. The owners really outdid themselves with deckrating the entire home lake theme.
It was quiet and somewhat secluded. Its anywhere from 15-30 minutes to geg to a store, deoending on what you beed, but InstaCart delivers!!!
We soent nearly every day on the lake and made the best memories! We had 4 adults and kids from ages 4-16. Everyone had plenty of space and a great time!

Great Hideaway

Great spot on the lake

The outdoor seating was exactly what we needed and the natural surroundings perfect for winding down and shutting out the noise. Loved the 2 fire pits and the short walk to the lake. A very relaxing and enjoyable time!

Beautiful Large Cabin right on Lake Nolin
Publié le 29 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayBeautiful location! Large Cabin with ample room and all the amenities for a great stay. Owners were very easy to communicate with and our dogs loved it too! We cooked in the large kitchen and sat around the campfire at night right on beautiful Lake Nolin! A large upper deck had a propane fire to sit around in the evenings. A big grill was available to cook steaks and hamburgers. The pool table was a nice addition and a late evening favorite. The internet was fast and had good range too. Close to Mammoth Cave which we visited several times. Quiet, serene and a very enjoyable stay. I loved the relaxing cabin. Highly recommended!

Girls Weekend

We will definitely book this house again! Hopefully in the summer time so we can take advantage of renting a boat and checking out the gigantic lake!
