Weekend Reset
Publié le 3 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayIt was wonderful. Quiet and cozy, just like we wanted. Only issue we had was that we couldn’t figure out the locking mechanism on the door. Thankfully a side door was open since we didn’t get in until really late the first night. Otherwise, we absolutely loved it.

Cute cabin in the woods on the river

This cabin is nestled in the woods and has a beautiful big deck overlooking the river. Inside had everything you would need and was super cozy. Would def stay here again!

Publié le 9 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayPerfect rustic cabin for 2 in a wonderful location. Private and quiet, loved the deck overlooking the river and fire pit! A wonderfully relaxing weekend trip, highly recommend! The owner was very responsive when we had trouble with the door lock but quickly resolved.

Short Stay
Publié le 28 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe cabin needs some care, cleaning and pest control . The size of the cabin was good and when the ac was working it was quite comfortable . The host was very efficient when dealing with the door not unlocking and the broken ac. The television service was great.
I wish I had know that there was no cell service ahead of my booking . If it was written in the description, I did not notice it.

I'm sorry you were unhappy with your stay. Once I knew the air-conditioning was down in the bedroom, I had a technician in within 24 hours.
I use Coppermines Pest Control locally and they spray monthly. Georgia has an influx of stink bugs/flat bugs right now. They are pesky and do not respond particularly well to the safe pesticides. I don't want a guests dogs or mine to be sick from strong pesticides so I avoid them. It's a seasonal fight that I will continue to do but I suggest avoiding Georgia over this 6 week period until they end their season.
I will inspect the cabin description, however, I'm sure it discusses the rural nature of the cabin with limited wi-fi and only wi-fi calling. If I remember correctly, I helped you set your phone up for wi-fi calling while I was there regarding the air conditioner.
Again, I'm sorry your experience didn't meet your expectations and I wish you both well.

Nice Rustic Cabin
Publié le 24 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayPerfect place to disconnect and enjoy the sound of the river. Owner is responsive if anything should arise. Feel like one with nature in this Cabin nestled at the end of a Road. Lots of wildlife, and only about 15 min from town and wineries.
