Great family home
Publié le 10 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe greatly enjoyed our stay at this house. It fit all our family needs and accommodated all of us.
We also needed to use the barn, due to inclement weather, for a wedding rehearsal supper. It fit the bill and was an event saver at the last minute!
We would definitely stay here again should the need arise.

The commutation was really great fast responds don’t have to wait any longer then like 3-5 mins . Clean and very nice place . Neighbors were nice and they had a nice pool area . Would recommend and would definitely rent again

Absolutely Perfect For What We Needed

So much room to play from the pristine pool area to the enormous living room and kitchen counters. Plenty of beds and floor space to really get down and spread out the fun. You could hear the squeals of delight coming from all over the house. P.S. We are a classic board game club and everyone said it was the best group play we’ve had in awhile. 10 out of 10. “Let’s roll”

Disappointed for the Price
Publié le 9 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe rented the property because it was on 5 acres, however the majority of the property was unusable. The grass was way overgrown on the entire property, it was as high as 3 feet in some areas and completely unusable. The grass was even overgrown on the walkway up. For those not familiar there are tick and jiggers in high grass that bite. We drove by before we checked in and saw the grass was very high, we sent a message asking if someone would be by to mow the lawn before we arrived. The host responded the next day at 5:00 pm after we already checked out saying the lawnmower didn't work and but they would take care of it, this did us no good as we already left. There were overgrown weeds next to the pool we had to pick before we swam. The outlet covers in the kitchen were broken and held to the wall with packing tape. One of the sockets pushed into the wall when we tried using it. The furniture was old and some of the chairs were wobbly and we were afraid to sit on them. There was mold on the ceiling by one of the bathroom vents. The floor was sticky in certain areas. I agree with another renter that the carpet is filthy and it smelled like pee. The owner put a claim in for the insurance we purchased for damage that was not done by us, we have photo and video evidence. The owner did below the bare minimum of upkeep on the house. If you do rent the house make sure you document everything with photos/videos.

I am sorry about the experience . The entire door in the closet has been damaged and curtain rods were broke. I agree the lawn mowers came late . The carpets are new !

Filthy
Publié le 8 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe good: Host promptly responded (although not necessarily with solutions) and showed nice flexibility with check-in and check-out.
The bad: The floors, rugs, and carpeting were filthy. After ten minutes of walking on the dining room/kitchen floor, our toddler's feet were entirely black with filth. The carpeting in the back rooms was wet and starting to smell (we had to move the toddler out of those rooms for sleeping). One toilet seat was broken, one shower drain was clogged, the pool pump is not running. The front step is covered in bird droppings, the trash bins outside were overflowing with garbage from the previous guests which was spreading to the driveway (host responded to bring it inside and cleaning would get it when we leave). The facilities would be nice if someone spent a day cleaning/repairing and maintained them properly.

Sorry about your experience . We take your feedback seriously this is the first time in 3 years of our existence some one gave such feedback. We did entire repair and maintenance which we do every week and monthly repairs . Thank your for writing this and it helped us to introspect .
