looking forward to next year!
Publié le 6 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had the best say! The house is furnished, so pretty. The upstairs bedroom, with the 3 beds separated by curtains. It was just my husband and I so really didn’t matter. Benito was wonderful to work with last year. I thought I had rented it for our stay, but I actually rented it for the year ahead. Bonito got us where we could stay in it for our trip. The house is amazing. The manager is wonderful! My husband and I are looking forward to next year to stay in it again! . Thanks Benito

the manager won’t call you, if you can’t log into app then you can’t communicate. Rented a unit that sleeps 5. i listed 2 names and waited to add the others once I knew who they were. then the rent went up with 4 people. Unpleasant surprise

the place was nice. The location was downtown and right around the corner from a large homeless camp. Close to the convention center, but didn't make the walk as often as we thought we would due to the area.

A Big Mistake
Publié le 22 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayDon't make the mistake we did. Think twice before renting this unit.
This is a single unit located in a shoddy industrial area populated by homeless. The only entrance into the unit is a door located a sidewalk width from the street. The outside is well lite which seemed to attract homeless to the exterior. Feeling very uncorfortable we contacted police who informed us that the sidewalk is a public area. Putting our safety & piece of mind 1st we had no choice but to leave2 days prior to our original departure date. We requested a refund from owner & have received no response.
In addition the amenities listed for the property indicate a pool & Spa. The only thing close to that was the bathroom sink.

I give this 4 out of 5. The inside is just as pictured. No complaints. Our first night we arrived at 9:30 pm. Upon arrival we noticed several homeless people sleeping across the road. I was ready to pack up and leave. But we didn’t. I’m glad we stayed. The homeless never bothered us and kept to themselves. The location was perfect for us to walk back and forth to the convention center.
Don’t let “looks” get the best of you. I would stay here again. I felt comfortable after my first night. Definitely travel with a group.
The homeless population was all around the convention center and the hotels. So I don’t feel like I could have gotten away from the sketchy look regardless location.

Horrible Location
Publié le 15 févr. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe paid full price to stay here for 2 nights but once we arrived we quickly realized we would not be staying at this location. The inside is cute and charming, but the building is a stand alone apartment with no activity around it except for the homeless population. I text the property manager and told him we would not be staying because we didn't feel safe and wwre concerned for our car (that has nice wheels). We did not receive a repsonse from him. Also it is not across the street from the farmers market.

Great Place, But Not for Everyone
Publié le 1 janv. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe place is funky (a good funky). Well-appointed and furnished. Very spacious. Loved the furnishings. A few area rugs on the first floor would be a good idea, especially in winter. A couple of things to keep in mind: the upstairs sleeping area is one big room; there are curtains that can be drawn around two of the beds (there are three total), but if complete privacy is a goal, it's not for you. Also - the bathroom is on the first floor. For those of us with older bladders (and a tendency to drink on vacations), it didn't make for much fun in the nights. The proximity to Farmer's Market is great. The area is gentrifying, but the area right around the building is still popular with the homeless. There was a homeless dude who was sleeping on the sidewalk in front of the building each night. It didn't bother us, but it's just something to keep in mind.
