The facility is clean and staff very pleasant. However, @ 10:15 pm, what appeared to be a loud argument occurred in room next to ours. Lots of yelling and what sounded like things being thrown against our adjoining wall. I heard loud bang/pop (possibly from a small 25 or 32 caliber pistol)! I called the front desk at this time and reported my audible findings. Shortly thereafter, the argument quieted down. At about 10:45 pm, the yelling and screaming of two or more persons (possibly female) escalated again! I called the front desk to report this. The person I spoke with said the manager had called the room after my first call to the desk, and a person told the manager the “she dropped something”. At that point, the desk person said they would call the manager again. Approximately, 25-30 minutes later the noise stopped.

We are really sorry for your inconveniences during your stay at Hampton Inn MCKinney caused by other guests staying with us. This is not usual in our hotel; our hotel is a family-oriented business and definitely we do not tolerate that kind of behaviour. Definitely it was not a pistol used in the other room, we check the room and all was OK, the bang it may seems to come from a dropped item. Our night manager was able to make them lower the noise, we are glad the noise stopped as you commented.

I was booked in the wrong hotel that was far away from where I wanted to be. I had to get another hotel and I did not get a refund. Terrible experience.

This hotel was convenient for where we were commuting to our relatives. The room only had one shower door, and the flooring was buckling up because the shower water can come out of the stall. the toilet paper hanger was right next to you while on the toilet and coming loose from wall. The wallpaper on opposite of missing door was coming off wall. The bathroom was the main miss for me.
