Perfect place

Just ok

Good things:
Coffee set up with pods/ground
Iron and board
House was clear
Parking and Pool towels:lots
Pool access.
Host responds quickly
Fans in bedrooms plus ac
Kitchen useable and adequately stocked
Overall it was just ok, there were so many little issues that came up:
The bad
Seems like no one does a reg check of systems. Clothes Dryer obviously broken; should have been known.
There is no table that seats 6 or more people.
Only enough items like trash bags, dish washer pods or TP for 3-4 days.
Ice machine had frozen ice in spout. We had to buy ice. 2 drawers in kitchen kept coming off track. Bbq is a flat surface like a griddle and no bbq tools. Propane handle was almost impossible to turn. Pool heating charge was (150/day. Ridiculous)
TP holder/towel rack coming out of wall. Grass high, not mowed and weedy.
Would we go again? No

It is our goal to provide a 5 stay experience for each guest and we are truly saddened by the fact that you did not have that experience due to unforeseen incidentals during your stay. Please find below the responses to your concerns;
-We use a well known company called Turnify which has experienced cleaners to clean, report every incidental, shortage of supplies and house resources. The cleaners clean and wash onsite after every guest, which is why I say the dryer break issue was an unfortunate occurrence which was fixed the same day you left. We also have a pool company which services the pool 2X a week as a commercial pool to ensure everything is in great shape and clean. Lastly, Lawn mowing occurs every 2 weeks and had to happen on your day of arrival so we did not want to disturb your stay once you were there.
Also we walk the property every 2 weeks. You did not notify us during stay that the ice maker on the fridge was frozen, we could have provided our emergency service on standby. We could have also dropped off any additional supplies you needed during your stay as we live locally and have them in a locked storage closet. However we have taken your review at heart and increased the number of all supplies left out for guest use moving forward.
Lastly, the house has multiple pictures of every room and it is just as seen in the pictures.
Again, it was a pleasure hosting you and your beautiful family and truly wish some of the issues were reported during your stay so we have an opportunity to make your stay more enjoyable.

It was just ok

Utensils had stuck on food the pool net was broken the lights to the lighted sign for photos did not work and it wasn’t specified that you have to message property owner to turn on and off the hot tub. Although I do understand we didn’t want to bother someone off and on to turn it on and off so we just didn’t use it. Saw a lot of better options way cheaper than this one. Will definitely plan ahead next time and do better. I hope the property keeps an eye on the extras it uses as selling points to rent the property.

Very comfortable for our group
Posted Sep. 5, 2023 on HomeAwayThis property was very nice. We had 9 people staying at the property and it fit us perfectly with the 3 king beds and 3 queens. The beds were very comfortable and the pool table and pool provided good entertainment as well as the patio area. The host was very responsive with requests. The group was used to a 11AM checkout but made the 10AM work for our trip although it would have been nice to have an extra hour. The wifi worked well too, but the TVs had a pin that made it hard to download apps to watch any streaming services on so I would suggest bringing a fire tv stick or something similiar. (we wanted to watch college football) Overall it served our needs nicely and we really couldn’t have asked for much more outside those tiny changes.

Thank you for staying with us and for the 5 star review. It is very important to us to make your stay very comfortable. Staying till 11am is reasonable request and I wish you asked. I would have gladly let you stay till 11 am as we had no guest checking in after you. We used to have an 11 am check out time but it was hard for the house keepers to get the house cleaned by the time our next guest checked in if we had a guest checkin on the same day. Therefore, we moved the checkout time to 10 am to ensure the cleaners have enough time to clean before the next guest. In the future, please ask and if you ever come back, your checkout time will be 11am.
As noted, we have 6 smart TVs with Netflix, Hulu, Amazon prime, YouTube and more. Regarding the password on the TV, I wish you asked. You are able to download any free apps however, if it is paid, the charge will be sent to my account. If you asked, we could have found a way to accommodate your request. Also, I only live about 20 mins from the Airbnb so I could have stopped by as needed.
Overall you were an amazing guest and we are here to accommodate your needs.

Great house
Posted Jul. 18, 2023 on HomeAwayWe really enjoyed our stay in this great house. We had 3 generations and everyone had plenty of room. The kids loved the big bedroom upstairs and we're able to watch a movie up there while we had something else on downstairs. The pool was the best part with the heat we've been having. The outside areas could use a little attention though. There was some broken, sagging concrete by the pool and what looked like some kind of metal sticking up near the fence in back behind the pool. With little kids, we had to make sure they stayed away from it. The owner was very easy to work with and even called me one evening over a small issue we had trying to get the spa going. Overall we had a great time.

Perfect home for a getaway!
Posted Jul. 13, 2023 on HomeAwayMy friends and I stayed here for 2 nights for a relaxing getaway and let me just say this home is very beautiful. The rooms are very modern and the bathrooms are all beautiful as well. It had all the kitchen necessities and it even has an outdoor pool which we enjoyed very much! The beds are super comfortable and fluffy, my friends said they all slept so good. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful! Parking was no issue, we had 4 vehicles total and we were able to park 2 in the front of the home and 2 in the garage. The host was very communicative and responsive to any questions or concerns we had. Overall we had such an amazing time and would recommend this home to anyone looking for a getaway in Dallas, TX.

Great house
Posted Jun. 20, 2023 on HomeAwayOur stay at this VRBO home was truly delightful from start to finish. From the moment we walked through the door, we were impressed by the cleanliness and the attention to detail that went into making this house a welcoming haven.
One of the standout features of this VRBO home was the abundance of amenities it offered. The highlight for us was undoubtedly the refreshing pool. After a long day of exploring the area, taking a dip in the pool was the perfect way to unwind and cool off. The pool area itself was well-maintained, and the comfortable lounge chairs provided a great spot to relax and soak up the sun.
Beyond the pool, we found an array of other activities that added an extra touch of fun to our stay. From a well-equipped game room and a pool table to a beautifully landscaped outdoor space where we enjoyed playing badminton and other outdoor games, there was never a dull moment.
The thoughtfulness of the hosts was evident throughout the entire property. The house was fully equipped with everything we needed, from a well-stocked kitchen to cozy bedrooms that provided a restful night's sleep. 😴

Great location for big group!!
Posted Jun. 14, 2023 on HomeAwayWow! I was SO impressed with this property for our trip! We came for a bachelorette party that had 12 girls and it was perfect!! The pool was fabulous and everything looked exactly like the pictures provided. I was beyond impressed that there was a TV in very bedroom and each individual room had a king bed! When I say it was some of the best sleep of my life I’m not exaggerating because the mattress was like a cloud. There was plenty of space for all of us and our things. The fridge was an awesome size and the ice machine worked great. On top of it all, i was very impressed with the communication from the host. She was so nice and always there to answer any and every question. Everything was only 15-20 minutes away and I will be recommending to EVERYONE!!!
