Don't expect much for the cheap price.
Publié le 26 sept. 2024 sur HotelsWe were in town for a wedding and only stayed 1 night. The staff was friendly and the beds and linens were clean. No problems with plumbing or A/C. The price was cheap so I guess I shouldn't have expected too much but there were roaches in one of our rooms and a syringe was found in the kleenex box of the other. We arrived later in the evening and were surprised with a $100 deposit for each room which was more than the price for the 1 night stay and not mentioned anywhere in the booking process. It was returned in 3-5 business days but what would have happened to someone who couldn't do that? No place to go and a non refundable booking? The "free breakfast" was pre packaged honey buns/muffins and coffee that you had to ask for. There was a heavy smell of weed in the elevator and hallway but I blame other guests for that. We didn't
do any cooking or use the dishes so I can't speak to that but I wouldn't want to anyway after seeing a few roaches. The staff was informed about the roaches at checkout but I didn't find out about the syringe until we were already heading back home and didn't have a chance to call them within an acceptable time frame. I would probably recommend people stay somewhere else or call ahead to make sure you know what you are getting.

Very run down and most things were broken such as door handle, sink handles, lights not working. Could have a lot of potential just a lack of cleaning and maintenance. Also definite cockroach problem too. Found 15 + during our short stay.

In need of cleaning and updating...

Everything from the lobby, stairs, elevator hallways to the rooms could use a very good/deep cleaning. The carpet and furniture in my room was stained and worn. The room could use some paint to cover up obvious construction changes (removal of valences on the window), etc. While the staff was nice, the service was mediocre. My room lacked hangers and one of the lamps was missing a lightbulb. I made this request very next day and I never received these items. I apparently missed the "cleaning time" for my room one day and was unable to get it serviced. When serviced the next day, I was not given all of the towels I needed. If staying in the area again, I would spend a bit more and stay elsewhere.
