Make sure you read all reviews, as well as the responses from the owner, Ivan. This will tell you everything you need to know.
The place felt extremely unsafe. When I checked in, everything on the property was out of order (bathrooms, etc), extremely dirty and messy all around, with some funny smells.
At check in, no one was particularly mean or anything, except maybe the owner Ivan, proud to be Slavic and slightly intimidating and argumentative about the history of Eastern Europe, and it did feel a bit... awkward, unwelcoming. It felt as if the people in there are mostly homeless people living there, which I'm happy for them that they have a place to stay... but I wouldn't pay to stay there.
I've been to quite a few hostels in my life... this isn't one.
So I left. And Expedia did the right thing and issued a full refund, which I appreciate since I did not cancel for personal reasons but due to the property not being as described and being unfit for living.
