Deer Camp at the Cozy Cabin
Publié le 12 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe stayed at the cabin and hunted the nearby public land. The cabin is in the country but a short drive to Nunda for groceries, gas etc. and in a great location for accessing various state forests/parks. The cabin itself is very nice, modern and well stocked with everything we needed including fun games and a fire pit. The dirt roads near the cabin are very quiet and nice for walks or runs. Peggy was great to communicate with, I would definitely stay here again!

Super host cozy beautiful knotty pine cabin
Publié le 24 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayVery high end well maintained inviting cabin and grounds. Beautiful knotty wood floors and log walls. Peggy goes above and beyond to ensure guests are welcome and have everything they need to enjoy their stay. She also has a binder with local site seeing and eating recommendations. She has useful labels and tips posted around the cabin making it easy to find what you need. She has DVDs and binoculars that were great for viewing the night sky. The firepit was beautiful with provided split wood and comfortable adirondack chairs where we enjoyed smores and wine.

The BEST Cozy Cabin!
Publié le 18 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe wanted to celebrate our 55th anniversary in a cabin near Letcchworth Park, NY. I jumped on this cabin as soon as I saw it and I was NOT disappointed. Everything was perfect, the cabin was cozy with perfect craftsmanship and such lovely decorations. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a special place to get away! Our host, Peg was so kind and helpful! This is the place to stay!

Honeymoon getaway

Very relaxing atmosphere and beautiful surroundings. The amazing parks near by were just an added adventure to top off our little getaway

Short break in the woods
Publié le 27 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayAs good as expected. I live in a country village in the UK so being away from a city is normal but the cabin is, to me, quite remote and peaceful even though buy US standards it
is nothing like remote as the services are only a few miles
away. 3 nights was too much of a rush and a week would enable you to get a real feel of the place and chill out. The cabin itself is interesting and the hosts are very considerate with all the info available. Walks around the cabin woods were good. I could not find a way to get into other parts of the forest further away in the local area and not sure if there was public access to those. The first night 2 deer wandered right up to the house but I don't think there will be any bears around though I would like there to be.

we're very glad to hear that your stay was too short!! There's so much to do so close to the cabin. Our guests always love to visit "The Grand Canyon of the East" at Letchworth State Park, and then after a day of sight-seeing, leave the state park crowd to enjoy the solitude at our Cozy Cabin. Many guests are greeted back by deer and most recently 19 turkeys in the front yard.

So Peaceful!

very quiet, surrounded by nature. Great jump off point for State parks in the area. Love the Empire State park pass included with our stay. The cabin is very well equipped and communications with Peg were prompt. 5 Stars!

Create Memories
Publié le 13 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayWas great to come back! My daughter reminded me this was where I taught her to do a cartwheel. This was our third time staying here. The kids love the trails. We have to visit "the alien" each time we come. We love the setup of the fire pit. Hosts are very easy to comminicate with. Away from the city and close to Letchworth and Stony Brook.
