Cottage on Creeper Trail with Wide Open Acreage

Summary:
Roomy 3 bedroom house on 23 acres right on the Virginia Creeper Trail near mile marker 30. Remote, peaceful, surrounded by nature and convenient to biking and hiking trails. 3 miles from the AT.

The Space:
This home has three bedrooms with an additional office converted to bedroom** and two bathrooms. The master bedroom has a king sized bed while other two bedrooms have queen beds. There are two dens, one is perfect for closing off for some quiet time with your favorite book and the other is more of a living space with a smart TV for streaming. The reading room does have a pull out couch that can sleep two. The dining room has seating for 6 with an additional four bar stools. The house is stocked full of just about every kitchen gadget, utensil, pot and pan you could ever need. The owners are huge boardgames advocates so have plenty of board games that are rotated through the home.

**The "office bedroom" with the twin bed and twin trundle is off of the mast bedroom. While there are doors to this office space the master is only accessible by going through this office space.

The property is shared with the Bikers Loft, a 1 bedroom apartment above the garage about 50m from the house. It is also available for rent. Please let us know if you wish to host an event on the property as you must rent both places.

Guest Access:
Entire house with the exception of the attic and storage closet.

Other Things to Note:
We do allow a maximum of two dogs and there is a fee of $100.

Great time with family and friends
We had a great time at The Cottage on creeper trail. There were 10 of us in our party 5 adults and 5 children under 7. There was plenty of space. The location was great! Would come back again.

Short Trip to the VA Creeper & the area
Perfect set-up for us - proximity, layout, super comfortable beds, minimal steps, super quiet, and wildlife galore. Every morning the deer would come down out of the woods and nibble on grass, check out the pears/apples that had fallen , and run around in the morning sun. Great communication and quick responses from Molly. Loved our stay immensely. and play in the morning

Perfect Weekend Getaway
Hello, Our stay in early June couldn't have been more perfect. We stayed with two families (4 adults, 4 kids of various ages) and the space was perfectly accomodating for our group. We appreciated the well-equiped large kitchen and enjoyed meals outside on the patio each evening. The proximity to the Creeper Trail made the logistics of our bike trip (especially with young kids) very easy. Thanks very much to our host!

Perfect!
This property was such a perfect place to stay for the creeper trail. Location was amazing being 8 minutes to White top and the creeper literally goes through the driveway. The house was very clean. WiFi was fast. Blankets on beds were excellent. No complaints from us. Would 100% stay here again!

Lots of space, very close to the trail
The driveway crosses the Virginia Creeper Trail, although you almost never hear riders. It’s a great location; about 3.5 miles from the top. The house is really spacious with lots of places to sit and relax.

Family gathering in Green Cove
Perfect in every way! Our family had a wonderful weekend right on the Virginia creeper trail. The house and property are perfect for a all ages family or large group. Green and peaceful! The house is well designed and quite comfortable with a large well stocked kitchen dinning room area perfect for our family of cooks. The living spaces had of room for games and quiet reading and the spa tub❤️ Was a hit after our active day on the VCT. Thank you Molly!

wonderful getaway
We loved staying at this property. THe kitchen had everything we needed, the living / dining areas were spacious, the beds comfortable. We loved outdoor firepit and the fact that we could stop in as we biked the Virginia Creeper trail which passes through the property. We'll be back.

Country Get-away!
Well appointed country home with 20 turkeys and 1/2 dozen deer grazing in the back yard each morning. On the Va Creeper trail and great fire pit and yard. We will be back!

Beautiful home on the Creeper Trail
We enjoyed our weekend stay on the Creeper Trail. This home had plenty of sleeping options and was very comfortable. The backyard is very spacious for the kids to run and play. I was happy to find enough paper products and soaps to get us through our stay.

Perfect retreat!
This house is one we will definitely come back to. They had everything we needed, it’s very cozy and in a private location with a wonderful landscape. The Creeper trail was in walking distance (crosses over the driveway) which was so nice and just a short drive away is Grayson Highlands park where we were able to hike with wild ponies!

Great place for family weekend
We stayed two nights with our two adult kids and their significant others. The house exceeded expectations. It was spacious, comfortable, clean, and very quiet. Access to the VA Creeper was easy (it actually crosses the driveway). The bedrooms are huge, moderate, and small, but three couples slept comfortably. We had in yard deer visits in the morning and evening. If you want a quiet comfortable getaway from the outside, this is the place.

Place was as advertised the place comes fully stocked with everything you need to cook. We ate like kings and rode the creeper trail and had great weather. And we hiked highlands park and saw the wild ponies. Great suggestion by the owner. We did fill the propane tank so any next guess will have a full tank. Can’t wait to go back.

Fantastic Amenities and Location - A Great Creeper Trail Weekend!
My group and I loved the location of the house and how it was right on the Creeper Trail. We visited in the winter, and it was so nice to be able to pull right off the biking trail and stop in to warm up and eat lunch. The amenities were exactly what we needed, having all kitchen and dining essentials made our long weekend so easy. The house is very large, with plenty of comfortable beds. It was clean and had all the comforts of home. We have all talked about our next trip to stay here. 5 stars!

Spacious home/beautiful surroundings
This is a wonderful, comfortable home that sleeps plenty! Open kitchen/eat-in/den area makes for a great space for gathering and opens to patio for entertaining as well. There is also plenty of space for sleeping many people. The surrounding views are stunning, and the home sits right on the Creeper Trail. The owners were easy to work with and home was clean. We will definitely rent this property again :)
