Like a 2nd home
Amazing stay in Damascus. The house has everything you need and is in walking distance to so many cool shops and restaurants in town. Fenced in back yard is ideal for bringing dogs as well. Amazingly easy access To the Creeper Trail - it’s right across the street! Highly recommend Wilson’s cafe, which is also practically across the street. Shrimp and grits - delicious! We’ll definitely check the availability here first when we plan our next trip.

Great Stay!
My husband and I stayed with our 2 dogs and would definitely stay again. Very private, host was not intrusive at all. Great place for our dogs to run and play in back yard. We were all very comfortable.

My friend and I love this home. This is our second stay, and we keep coming back for the location, but also the cleanliness and ease of checking in. Wes has been great with communication. No complaints at all, and we look forward to staying here again in the future.

The house was nicely decorated. Fairly clean. Kitchen needs a few more pots. Only one there Close to many bike rentals. We did the trail both directions. Once with rented bikes and the other direction with our own bikes. Check your rental bikes closely. One of the bikes had a warped wheel with loose spokes. Damascus is a beautiful taunt town with many friendly people. We had a good time.

Great location, comfortable stay
This location was great for our family of 4 and two dogs. Love the fenced-in backyard so that the pups could run around. Very clean inside. Great shower/bath. We had everything we needed! Bonus was that it was right across the street from the Creeper Trail and a bike shuttle service. We would definitely stay here again!

The house was everything we expected! It was plenty of space for our family if 4 and walking distance to everything. We loved Wocked Chicken next door and the easy access to bike rentals and the trail. Would definitely stay again.

Great place directly across the road from Creeper Trail/AT. The house had everything we needed and no problem getting checked in. Damascus is a great town with hiking and restaurants. The house was basically very clean except for some of the fine details - baseboards and things like that. We'd stay again in a heartbeat and recommend this cute house to anyone.

Very nice house with spacious interior. Comfortable furnishings. Walking distance to hiking, biking and restaurants. Large fenced backyard. You can enjoy the view of the Creeper Trail riders and the AT hikers from the front porch.

Location, Location, Location
Great home in a great location. Everything is in walking distance and if you love people watching you have the perfect view to do so from the cozy front porch. The fenced in backyard was great for my senior dog. The Wicked Chicken is right next door and the food and service was a 5 star experience. The Appalachian Distillery was a few easy blocks to walk. So much to do…. And do not forget the Creeper Trail is a step or two away.

Relaxing and cozy
This is our second stay at this cozy dog friendly home. We enjoyed biking and hiking the creeper trail from just a short walk out the door. Conveniently located near delicious Wicked Chicken and short walk to Damascus diner. Thank you for the opportunity to enjoy time with family, friend and pets. We had a great time together!

Here for the bikes!
Great property. Everything we needed was available. Couldn’t ask for a better location if you are there to explore the Virginia Creeper Trail. Having The Bicycle Junction Across the street and The Wicked Chicken next door is a bonus! Also:The mattresses/ pillows were very comfortable. Perfect after a day of riding. I say this because it’s the one thing most properties can do better!

This cottage was indeed cozy! The decor displayed really defined the relaxed environment, not only of the house, but of the town as well. This house was clean and very spacious. The bathroom was large, filled with things you might forget to pack (like q-tips and toilet paper) … and the shower was amazing. The kitchen was packed with everything we needed including a Keurig and k-cups. The dining room table was big but there was plenty of room to move around. The sofa had the comfort and inviting feel of coming home after a hard day’s work or a VERY long drive. Our dog loved the fenced in back yard and even found a ball to play with outside during our short stay. The weather was a little cool so we didn’t get to enjoy the deck too much but it was nice and the patio cover donned curtains that could be closed for more privacy. And you won’t have to travel far for a good chicken dinner. There is a little place nearby that is in walking distance that had yummy chicken and the best wings! Our only regret about this home was that we arrived late and left early the next morning as it was just a stepping stone to our next location of our road trip. Wish we could have stayed longer in the quaint, friendly little town. If you get the opportunity to stay there, don’t forget to sign the guest book!
