Great trip
Publié le 18 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had so much fun. I wish the dishwasher was working and I did not realize this was a shared unit. Also the freezer barely opened and was very loud. Other than that though, we would stay here again and hope to soon!

GOLF WEEKEND
Publié le 14 nov. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe stayed Nov 9-12 to play golf at a couple local courses & celebrate the Marine Corps Birthday. The check-in process was smooth, place was clean, view was tremendous, and location is perfect. Waves crashing against the sea wall 15' beneath your feet with an ocean view is the perfect setting. Only complaint is, we tried to get a guest in by leaving his name at the front gate. Security wouldn't take it and told us to call the property manager we dealt with. I called the only number I had in connection with this reservation, and she seemed confused but took the name and told me she added it to the list. The gate security said they still showed nothing about it. There is an obvious communication gap there, so we were forced to drive up to the gate, out of the property to pick up our guest, and again to return him to his vehicle parked off property later that evening when he left. The Gate Security was rude and uncooperative, which apparently they're known for. Other than that, great place to stay!

It is always our goal for our guests to be able to use everything the home has to offer, and we apologize for any misunderstandings you experienced regarding the supplies provided in our home. We do provide starter packs of paper products and detergents, and anything required beyond what is provided is the responsibility of the guests.

Nice long weekend getaway
Publié le 13 déc. 2021 sur HomeAwayThe Good: Location is beautiful with ocean front immediate access out the back door. Management company was responsive to questions we had usually immediately or very quickly. Property is in a gated community and therefore very safe from folks wandering in. Interior of the property was very nice, appliances were all updated, and it was exceptionally clean.
The Rest:
- Severe beach erosion makes beach access essentially impossible and waves coming directly up to the back of the property
- There is significant permanent structural damage to the back porch and patio area from the beach erosion, which was taped off by yellow caution tape, but someone could have very easily fallen in
- The structural damage to back patio was pervasive and not disclosed in the property description when we rented, nor the fact that the beach was essentially unusable
Overall:
- In hindsight the moderate rental pricing for the unit probably "bakes in" the issues with patio area and beach access but it would have been nice to know this ahead of time
- People / management Company were excellent, property was clean and safe

Disaster !!
Publié le 23 nov. 2021 sur HomeAwayVacasa property manager did not disclose that the whole back of the property was washed away, after booking Vacasa sent email about work being done on the north side of the property, we get there and the work is being done on the west side of the property and the beach front home has No beach access ? would not have booked a beach front home without beach access as advertised.
