Summer Haven is a charming two-story cottage overlooking beautiful Thunder Cove Beach. This unique beach encompasses all the best features of PEI beaches - towering sand dunes, red cliffs, and miles of perfect powdery sand for barefoot walks. Less hectic than the tourist areas of Cavendish and Rustico, it is ideal for families and those in search of a traditional beach escape. Our lovely summer home is nestled in the trees in a private gated community. Here you will find two floors of comfortable living space. Both levels feature a wrap-around deck, with plenty of space to swing in a hammock, find a quiet nook, or socialize in the conversation area. Looking over the treetops, you will have amazing views of the ocean and sky on all three sides of the cottage.

Beautifully decorated in blue and white, Summer Haven offers everything you need for a wonderful PEI vacation. This custom-built home was designed to provide space for families or couples. The open concept main living space upstairs has a vaulted ceiling with a beautiful electric fireplace beside the dining table and living room. The sunny, fully appointed kitchen offers a centre Island with snack bar. The Master Bedroom has a queen sized bed and ensuite. Enjoy the views from your personal deck. Downstairs, there is a bedroom with queen sized bed, and a third bedroom with two single over double bunkbeds. A second living room with TV, a snack bar, family bathroom and laundry area offer you lots of space. All the amenities of coastal living are at your fingertips in this well-appointed retreat.

Thunder Cove Beach is a short walk from your door. We provide everything you need for a great day at the beach! Take a walk along the dunes and watch the eagles soar.

Summer Haven is ten minutes away from Malpeque Harbour. Basin View Seafood is just around the corner! In Malpeque, you can stop into O’Neil’s art gallery and cafe, or attend a Ceilidh at the town hall. To the east, you are a twenty minute drive to the National Park and Cavendish Tourist area. On the way to the National Seashore, you can stop in at Green Gables, explore local galleries and pottery shops, visit world famous golf courses, or dine in some of our favourite restaurants.
