Hi, Barry, we are sorry that you had some issues with your stay. I can assure you that we do our best to make our guests' stay a pleasant and comfortable one, and usually get a much higher rating. We believe the chalet offers good value for money. I wonder if you were perhaps expecting a hotel room? As it is a chalet, our nightly rate for up to four people is far, far less expensive than hotel accommodation, especially in the Dartmouth area (if you do a quick search, you may be surprised!). It offers a spacious sitting room, a fully-equipped kitchen with cooking facilities, and free parking. The use of a coin meter is the best way for us to make a fair charge for electricity at the present time. Guests only pay for the electricity they use. There is good mobile reception, and this is what we use for emails, searches and so on when we are at the chalet. Guests are told about the meter and wi-fi in our booking information, so should expect these aspects. The instructions we leave are comprehensive so that guests are fully informed, and problems with the services are avoided. I hope that clarifies things for you. Sheena and Richard.
